Nutria were prevalent in Eastern NC when I was growing up and there is a large population here on the Eastern Shore. They wreak havoc on the marshes.

I bought the Cowin brand of headphones but can't recommend them over any others.
Most durable would be the big muffs without electronics, nothing to break. The best noise protectors I've found are rated at -34db.
Noise cancelling headphones may sound "better" or work better since they are smaller and less obtrusive.

59F puffy cloud here and there t shirt weather indeed.

House got good bath hard to believe how dirty it was since I wash it last October
Pair hawks circle most of the morning and squirrels were on high alert chattering/barking.
Shower and shave and Mrs. going to take me out to dinner instead of bbqing ain't nothing like home cooking. :thumbsup:
Think I'll take walk about check the game cams.

Taking a break after a bit of success.

Decided to replace my water/driver connection with post driver - right diameter and built to take a beating




After beating on it with sledge with more bounce than results, decided to try the backhoe approach.
Almost taken by surprise when it slid in a couple of feet.
Worked it slowly until close, time to evaluate.



Decided to go afar as it would go, basically the the post pounder handles then the clay was too much.

So now removed, water back connected and hopefully softening a bit.
Hopefully will see results in another foot or so, depending on deviation taken in direction, depth, or both. The is the end of 3x 6ft sections.



Hoping for the best.

put my taters and beet in the air fryer, boy were they good. Then had a basmatic rice and leftover chicken mixture.
Nice low fat dinner.

Thanks Drew. Not really wanting them for the bluetooth music feature, just for the active noise cancelling. We just bought a pair of 3M Peltor non active/non electronic headphones. They work, but we want even quieter. My daughter apparently has super hearing capabilities like Superman.

Guess I’m going to have to add another section as I can’t locate the exit end apparently too much deviation one way or another.





Pull another 3 or 4 feet and hope for the best. Of course, I need to get another section. Going to dinner in town, so a detour to HD in order.

Good evening all. 54F for the start, cloudy, light wind. Rain began 7AM, ended 9:30, .9 inch in gauge. Wind became moderate then petered out in afternoon, overcast all day, light sprinkle in evening, high temp of 63F. ride began late, due to rain, showered and napped and it was dinner time:confused3:

44 right now and looks like the high for the day. 7days of rain in the forecast! Yuck!
I work out of my vehicle. Yesterday I decided to take the time to clean all the winters mess out of the interior and exterior. Took me most of the afternoon. Finished that just in time for my wife to return from running errands so I washed her car too. This morning my arms and back are feeling it.
Back yard is still to wet to do anything with, guess I’ll have to take it easy today.

57 degrees this morning and FINALLY going for a sunny 77 with NO RAIN in the forecast before next weekend, at least.:dance1: All lakes, ponds, streams, rivers, etc. are full in this part of the world.

40 right now...high today in the lower 50's...cloudy, but no rain.
Mowed the lawn yesterday and assembled an Agrifab lawn roller, then rolled parts or the lawn where I had tore it up last winter. The field is dryer, but still too wet to mow
Just puttering today...if I do anything useful, I'll report it tomorrow

Coffee is done brewing. 44ｰ with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 50ｰ with afternoon showers. Got yesterdays projects done. Then went to sons place and celebrated Mothers Day with his family. Good meal and leftovers for another day. Taking wife out for dinner this afternoon. No other plans.

Good morning all. Days outside don't get much better than this. The last oak trees to break out of bud are unfurling their leaves against a clear blue sky. There are plenty of white flowers on hawthorns but the best display of all is the pink blossom on the older crab apples.

Eric, I read about a high tech robotics oriented facility in Shropshire. Might that be fueling the need for more housing for employees? Wondering who
your new neighbors will be, as i'm sure you are. Those flowering trees are just lovely, just want to stare for awhile.
