Good morning!!!!

53°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 72° today.

Spent Saturday morning driving the nephew all over trying to get his driver's license reinstated. Took him to the office in Greenville, where they informed him they couldn't do that there, and that he had to go to either Springfield or Granite City. So, drove him to Granite (which is always an adventure) only to find that his license has expired (last month), so he'll need to take the written and driving test. Not enough time left in their day for that, so he left. 115 miles and three hours later, we returned home no better than we left. I puttered a bit inside before going out around 1:30pm to start on the prairie restoration area. There's about a half acre between the lake front and the road that always floods every spring and gets too we to mow. With the increased rains, it's been especially bad this year. Still haven't been able to mow there, and the grass is three feet tall already. Too tall for the mower and too wet for the tractor. I went out there in my tall rubber boots with the Husqy line trimmer and a gallon of fuel mix. Three hours later, I had about half of it done. had to quirt when my hands and forearms started cramping.

Sunday morning was spent mostly waiting on Lowe's to deliver our new washer and dryer. They finally showed up around 4:30pm. They delivered the new Whirlpool machines and removed the old ones. Nice guys, in and out quickly. I attached the power cable to the dryer and connected everything in about 10 minutes. Wifey was happy. A few more "bells and whistle" than the old set, but still your basic washer and dryer. Never got back out to work on the prairie grass. Made loaded nachos for dinner instead.

Happy Anniversary, Claye. 40 is impressive.

Welcome to the GM thread, Scrambler82.

Lol, i must have similar supervisor. Was complaining about the uncut grass under the apple trees. Cant see it from the road, is behind the barn, but yet........

I understand you boys, I was told I needed to pick up the slack on trimming until her finger heals. I thought I was!

Sunny, hot and humid, headed to 90 today, heat index is 93 now. 75 tomorrow, but back to 90+ by the weekend. Summer weather is here, I don’t care what the calendar says.

Prayers for everyone ailing.

Good Morning!!!! 54F @ 9:30AM. Sunny to partly cloudy. High 69F. Winds S at 10 to 20 mph.

Sounds like most of you had productive weekends!

All the rain out here has me scrambling to keep up.

And speaking of scrambling, welcome Scrambler!:welcome:

Fooled around with paperwork yesterday morning and now I can see about half my desktop. Rain returns tomorrow so it looks like I won't have to wait long for a rematch.

It dried out enough in the afternoon for me to drill out the spot welds holding the seat tracks to the floor under the driver's seat. There will be a lock box under there, and it needed a bit more clearance. Found some 3/8" bar stock, got it cut to size, then learned that rain had found its way inside the media hopper on the bead blaster. Lots of poking and blowing to get it dried out, then an hour or so cleaning off rust and old paint. Got the rails welded to the spacers, then primed them. Today I'll fill the holes where the spot welds were and weld the seat rails back in, make the cutout for the lock box and drill the mounting holes, then give the whole mess a coat of paint.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a good start!

I have a ZG 20, I needed 48 “ deck to maneuver my holly grove. It now has 360+ hours. Both tractor and deck are shaft driven.
Thanks.

The kubota z700 series has efi for $12k. At that price you might as well go diesel.

Im worried about the non greasable spindles on the Z421 series. Z421 are $7k.

I thought when I posted about the Skin So Soft that it would get a laugh, I didn't think anyone ever used it for the bug spray purpose.

I am ordering a bottle of the Skin So Soft from Amazon, (Thanks for the Link Rick), should be interesting to see if it still works as well as it used to !
