Good Morning Everyone!!!!
A humid 51ÂşF for today's low; a humid mixed sun/clouds 69ÂşF presently and I anticipate a humid afternoon. In the mid-high 70ÂşF's.. I would not be surprised to see a popup T-storm/rain showers this PM. I actually turned on the A/C after this AM's walk of the lower perimeter due to the humidity. Wifey and I are going down to CT to celebrate birthdays and Memorial Day with ex-BIL's family. A lot of military in his family

It will be a relatively long day with 4 hours on the road. After Memorial Day I see a lot of days with rain until next Friday.
Mr. Knee thanks everyone for the + thoughts about being brace-free. I/He will still wear the brace for climbing up my hill (which I have not done since January) and when I am carrying weight.

Bears are a fact of life here, Last year it was Momma bear with 3 cubs as the regular visitors. We do not encourage them by leaving food outside. Those bird feeders are the exception. I/we have had 5 bears here on the front lawn and deck at one time years ago when the pear tree was heavily fruiting. They seem to have a weird social system based on hierarchy, scent, and territory. IMHO they are not as solitary as people think. Bears can sprint up to +35mph for short bursts. I did have one encounter with a very agitated sow with treed cubs many years ago . She was more agitated with my crazy coondog mixed dog howling/baying and just having a good old time making a ruckus. I talked to a UMass biologist who specialized in bears after this encounter and he told me the sow would probably not have chased me far due to the dog and her treed cubs. BTW- Bonehead dog survived his encounter without injury.
David- I am amazed with your talents working concrete as well as the rest of your and Sophie's place on a daily basis.
Bruce- Thanks for sharing your rides and picture.
"Tried taking the tractor out in the back yard and promptly sunk in the mud."- Phil. I have not moved my NH far from around the house due to the surface moisture.I may or may not till our garden this week due to the predicted weather for MA.
Bird- Way to hot down in FL for me, but the T-storms are impressive. When a Floridian complains about the heat it is HOT.
Poor folks in Oklahoma can't catch a break. More tornadoes and bad weather again last night ..... please keep them in your prayers- Rick. I think we are seeing a new "normal" weather-wise.
Randy- I am happy you had quality time with your family.
I hope that everyone is having a manageable Sunday.
My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.
