Good evening all. 65F in Texas this morning, partly cloudy and CALM wind. Variable clouds, light winds and high temp was about 76F. Uneventful trip, 595 miles in 9:35. 1 detour around flooding, in Muskogee, got to see some impressive flooding. Police were there to discourage people stopping to take pictures. Looked like St. Charles county in '93:eek:
Randy get better.
Buckeye nice mower.
Will post pics of new car when home.
prayers for all.

We've got new cars and new tractors and new zero turns. Lots of new machinery to learn.
And one sick friend, Randy you had to feel pretty crappy to make that trip, get your body back in balance and get out of there.
And figure out how to stay out. We are all praying for a fast recovery for you.

About dinner time storm hit, and it was a doozy. I've never heard hail bang against the side of the house here before. Gauge says over an inch,
I almost don't believe it. When sun is up, shortly, going out to see if it helped or damaged anything.
Then off to podiatrist later who wants to operate to put a skin graft on my plantar fasciitis. Nice idea, but not doing anything right now to immobilize this foot. Simply has to wait and I wear the orthotics constantly. Now if only I could get off my feet...

Back up to mid 90's today with possibly more thunderstorms. Seems like that "unsettled weather" is coming in.
I want the settled weather than rains every Wednesday night.
Let's see if Amazon sells that too...

Have a good Friday.

Good morning, a nice bit of not-threatening cloud cover this morning. While I was out I noticed this stone on top of a strainer post. What put it there and why? I can guess, but that's not the same as knowing - trailcam time !

Stone on post.jpg

Randy, hope your time in hospital will soon be over.

Thomas, at least you found out before winter. Take your time and smile, every piece of kindling must surely be earning you brownie points this year :)

34° F and going to a high of 59. Wind WNW 6 mph. 30% chance of showers.

We had frost last night, but the lettuce got covered up before that happened.

I am not sure what I am going to do today.

Have a safe day all

67 going to 86. Maybe a storm.

Beautiful sunrise this morning with a mix of cumulus and cirrus clouds moving through.

BEF, hope you get some seat time on your new Z today.

Randy, feeling better, yet? Maybe a ride in the Monte Carlo would help.

Eric, looks like a bird was there...any local species use rocks for a ground nest? Around here crows will collect strange things.

Need to pour second cup of coffee. 50° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 80° with mostly sunny skies. Yesterday was a washout. Cut lawn today. Then a trip to Grand Rapids to pickup a puppy. Like our current dog doesn't keep me busy enough. Maybe a sleepless night tonight.

Lost another good friend to Cancer yesterday.

In the park where lake picture was taken. We have an albino deer that has had a fawn. Same photographer.

we really did get over an inch of rain in that blast last night, bits of tree leaves blown into the lawn, but nothing big. Potatoes sound like they are cheering.
Green has returned.
Picked another ten pounds of cukes this morning, headed to food pantry and then podiatrist. Hopefully I can get home and get some light mowing done before storms pop up again.

Toppop, we are rooting for you. Hope each day is better.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!

A clear 58º for today's low temperature; a clear and sunny 59ºF presently; and I anticipate a sunny PM in the low 70ºF's. A good day for working in the garden. We had a visitor earlier this AM. I heard him before Brogen. Once Brogen figured out what was going on the ruckus began. Once on tether Brogen started barking at the can probably believing that the bear was in the can "waiting." He finally worked up the courage to check things out. We'll see how long the bird feeders stay intact.

Eric- A stone bird laid an egg?

RNG- Awesome storm cell and oscillating wave cloud formation picture. Thanks for sharing.

RonJH- I really like your stonework water feature and the albino deer picture. Thanks for sharing. I am sorry to read about your friend. RIP

Thomas- I am sorry to read about your "surprise." I am not fond of them myself. FWIW I really like my 5 ton electric wood splitter to break 1/4's down to kindling size.

BEF- Nice picture.

Bruce- I am waiting for your pictures. I wish you a safe return home.

Randy- I hope you get home soon.

I hope that everyone is having a good day today and better day tomorrow.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

That is a crime scene do not disturb.

While a bird was doing it's business on top of the post a perpetrator threw a rock at it and hit and killed it. A Coyote friend then disposed of the body.

Good morning! 73 ˚F heading to the high 80s cloudy 40% chance of rain. A rattle snake was reported 4 gardens down from mine, but I saw none in mine when I was harvesting a bucket of potatoes yesterday. About 3 more buckets in the ground, they are the size of softballs now. Tomatoes are turning red and made some salsa last night.
Nice new Z, Pics Buckeye.
Looking forward to the new car pics Mostly.
Bear on the porch, OH MY!! That tops rattlesnake in the garden.
