Good morning! Started off as a cool raining morning and is now a sunny warm 88˚.

With my green pepper, jalapeño, potatoes, eggplant, and tomatoes I grew in the garden my wife made us some Instant Pot aloo baingan masala potato eggplant curry. This is the recipe and it looks as good as it taste. Instant Pot Aloo Baingan Masala / Potato Eggplant curry recipe vegan

Drew I have roma tomatoes and two other that I'll have to see if I have the labels in the garden still. Both are large and one has a lot of wrinkles.

The garden has out grown the tractor.


The plants to the tight are the cucumbers (on the green cages). I planted them after harvesting the potatoes. Got my first cucumber yesterday and plenty more to follow.

But it’s a good tasting disease.
It’s the Indian name for potatoes, eggplant and curry, . . . I hope!

Good evening all. 70F this morning, some clouds east, calm wind. moderate einf today, some clouds, and high temp of 90F. Chapel this morning, then wife and I had pancakes for lunch, then into energy conservation mode. We decided to not got to Missouri for the Fourth due to rain in the forecast while we are there, waiting for a string of low rain forecast days.

Good morning. The temperature has dropped to a much cooler 15C/59F, with some kind cloud now closing over to keep it from rising by not much more another degree all day long. Sun lovers will be disappointed, to me this is absolute bliss.


RNG we have a lot in common, yet a civilian CCW training session with local police is so way off the scale of unlikely behaviour in Britain that you'd think we were living on different planets.
I would fail that course big time. My firearms training, from the first time I got an air rifle, was to never ever point a gun barrel at anyone (unless you intended to kill them). I've even had to decline when friends have gone paint ball shooting because I wouldn't want to take aim at them. Very different training, although one end result should be the same - neither of us is likely to shoot a good guy

I did experience a collapsed lung and a surgical "snorkel" to my lung that I carried around in my pocket. I could make it "fart."

JB, until recently, I would always associate snorkelling with a holiday in Portugal, diving down to see silver fish in a beautiful clear sea.

Don't worry though, it is not your snorkel farting lung that has destroyed that - it was when the BBC started to show new "idents" before programs, including these "bog snorkelers" :confused3:

Yep, Thomas, July is here already...still haven't been able to plant all my food plots yet. Most at least have volunteer clover growing. I did get my biggest plot (about 1.5 acres) mowed, sprayed, tilled and planted in sunflowers...finished up on Friday, but no rain since. I think it will have time to produce seeds before the first frost in October.

Changed the oil in my wife's Highlander yesterday...was nice crawling under it just to get in the shade.

62° and sunny. Leaving wed with the camper for 4 days, up in mountains of PA. Not too far, just up above gettysburg. They are calling for storms the whole time. Wont have internet.

3 yrs ago today my mom died.

I did sleep all night, unlike the night before.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 58° with sunny skies. Heading to 89° with partly cloudy skies. Got lawn cut yesterday. But nothing else. Storm that hit Joliet, IL kept going SE. Not sure what I will do today. Wife has a Xray that needs to be done. Then we have to find and new dog. Old one closed. Same with barber for me. Interesting that they are closing up shop when the economy in my area is going good. Maybe the building owners are raising the rent too high. :confused3:

Jay, sounds like a long uncomfortable recovery. Sure hope Buckeye does not have the same. The blood pressure med I was taking caused me to cough all the time. I think you had similar reaction to same med. Took over 2 months for cough to go away after changing meds.

RNG, had to look at my CPL to see when it expires. Good until 6/2021. The local gun range offers similar events to check out your reflex in that 2 seconds. My guns are all locked up in a safe. By the time I got one out and ready to fire I would be well past my 2 seconds. :ashamed:
