Helped daughter on prep for slab on their house build until well after 11pm last night. Very sore back this morning (last night working also very sore).. Slab guy and crew arrived a 7am today, pump truck at 8, concrete started flowing shortly after. I told my daughter last night, it is getting real now..

Neighbor was being forced to do that, he replied with lawyer letter that he would be happy to do that, if they paid for installing fence, maintaining fence along with putting in water line across creek and water trough, including all upkeep for it all.. Last I heard, he had heard back that they were locating funds to do it, but had not yet acquired them. I noticed he reduced his herd greatly this year, perhaps he is in legal battle..

I remember txdon receiving a new Kidde fire extinguisher for one that was recalled, but I don't remember when, and I don't remember anyone else receiving one. Anyway, my new one arrived today via FedEx and I have the old one packaged and have called FedEx to pick it up tomorrow.

Yep, it was about a week and a half ago. Rick got his ones replaced also.

Here we have some programs and resources to do the same. It is highly encouraged. I could get away with a no cost option, but that would require a conservation easement. Unfortunate, but I cannot see myself doing it with over 50 acres butting up against a creek and my neighbors NOT doing it, or expressing no interest in it.

None of ours are the recalled extinguisher. But, it did serve to remind me that I need to check those more often.
