Good evening all. 77F for the start, overcast, light wind. Sky cleared off a bit, then afternoon thunderstorms moved in with brief heavy rain, temp dropped in the outflow, high temp was 92F. Bike ride this morning, expected tail wind home bound but wind shifted to west and died off some. Had to put cover back on boat for thunderstorms, and nap.

David, R1tires, like off pavement bike tire work better at lower inflation. I ran mine at about 5 to 10 psi. Never noticed the ride except while roading the tractor.
Ron sounds like a heck of a fight, glad the turkey won.

Re my flail side shift. Haven’t measured but likely about 6 inched outside of tire. Not a lot, but does allow me to get close to fence with catching tractor in the wire and not far enough to upset the balance. Something of a compromise. Vendor shipped me center mount flail instead of offset model. I think this will satisfy most of my needs. Of course had I realized I’d be getting the XR4140, most likely I would have opted for the 175 flail instead of the 155 length.
So far, I haven’t gotten any negative feedback from primary supervisor as to skids scars so I’m ahead

RNG, trying to keep open mind re R1 vs R4. Will have to look at the pressure issue.

Any chance you might be confusing the ipad Air with the MacBook Air? Functionally the current Ipad Air is about same as the original iPad Pro, both with same IOS and original Pencil support. I find myself using my ipad much more than my MacBook, primary exceptions being some spreadsheets, detailed drawings, and standalone programs like TurboTax.

A few light showers yesterday have freshened things up, now it's back to bright sunshine today.

David, two other options to consider to smooth out your ride
1) Ask Santa for an air seat
2)Leave tractor in 4 wheel drive while running on concrete - if your transmission survives, those R1 treads will soon be gone

Went to celebrate one of our son's birthday at my in-laws apartment. Then we all went out to a good seafood restaurant for lunch. Got home in time to mow for a couple of hours. Some areas weren't completely dry even at 5pm due to the high humidity.

good morning all, another hot sticky day, rain never came yesterday so things are drying up.
But I can almost guarantee rain today since I'm going out on the River with a friend and her small boat, after I fill the tank (what are friends for...).
going to pull her boat to a local station that has E-0 premium and dump a can of SeaFoam in the tank first. 17 foot Pioneer, similar to a Scout.
Brought a bunch of safety gear I doubt she has, like a paddle..., as a boat present.

Assuming no lightning, even if it rains, temps are in 90's and I'm wearing a bathing suit, actually hope to go for a swim someplace.
First time on the water in three years since I sold my boat, definitely looking forward to it, slow cruise, my bad neck won't take any bouncing out there.

Lots of prayers and positive vibes for Randy/Toppop, hard to imagine that kind of multitasking...hoping yesterday went well. If it didn't, hope it does soon.

Sodamo, super nice equipment, did you get LS blue flip flops with the deal?

Drinking second cup of coffee. 65° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 81° with partly cloudy skies. Got my projects done yesterday. Crossed off 2 items on the list. Weather is supposed to be rain free for a few days. Need to remove old paint and paint metal cellar doors. Then watch NASCAR race that got postponed because of rain. That is if it stops raining.

Don, dead meat bacteria endotoxemia. Is there dead plant bacteria endotoxemia? I looked it up with a Google search. Confusing info for a person like me. :confused3:

David, skid plates on my Woodmaxx do not touch the ground unless I hit a high spot in ground. Is yours designed to control cut height. I use rear roller to control height.
