That's great, but you really also need to work on your upper body and arm strength. We can't land so we will have to throw out out the rope ladder on the 23rd.
Opps, i told them the helicopter was coming for me. They said no landing zone. I do upper body strength in OT, so im ready.

Had the shrink visit me today, to assess my mental health. Lol

PJ, thats a lot of rain.
Nice table refinish. I want to put stone dust under mine. It's under oak tree, so grass doesn't grow much there as the tree got bigger.

I told you not to tell them about the helicopter!! :)

Good evening all. 78F for the start, mostly clear sky, calm wind. Sky clouded up, wind stayed light, temp dropped to 74F when rain got close but none fell. High temp for the day was 99F HI 111. Showers in area, more forecast for in the morning. Cleaning lady prep this morning, then putter till lunch Did get the bathroom door hinges greased so the don't creak or squeak.
Randy best of luck on tomorrow.
Drew the dentist chair is not the way I would start my day either. Not sure if the bike tires are radial, they are Kevlar belted, don't have the greatest grip in the rain.
PJ tell your wife the picnic table turned out wonderful.
Buckeye hope your upper body is progressing as well as your lower body :D
Bird, when we lived in STL, wife found a chiropractor who helped with the STL Rams. He could do wonders for her back. However there are some people who have no business hanging up a shingle
Hawkeye good score on the table saw
Prayers for all.

54 right now...high in the upper 70's today.

Got about 20some miles south yesterday, then turned around. I've been having bout of light to moderate vertigo the last few weeks in the morning. I've been toughing it out to get to work since the vertigo abates in a couple hours. 180 miles to CT was too far though. I think it's my BP again and I have a doctor's appointment Thursday afternoon.

73 going to 89, maybe another storm...the one last night included a lot of lightning...knocked our power out for 3 hours. Lots of rain, finally...looking forward to checking the gauge as soon as it's light.

BEF, great news. Looks like Rick has the helicopter solution (great photo!). I'm not sure the one Don has borrowed from the Sun City Helicopter special interest group of the Trail Maintenance Club has a rear door, though. Maybe RNG can fabricate one before the 23rd.

PJ, what an awesome job on the table. Now let's see a pic of a big picnic spread on it.

Roy, sorry to hear of your problem.

How does Brogen like his clean Tundra?

Had a real nice 65th anniversary celebration for my wife's parents last night...the assisted living community was having a "Cruise ship" themed party with live music, food and drinks, and we were able to add on to it with balloons and cake for the anniversary...they presented them with a special recognition. My wife had found a couple of their wedding photos and set them up on the special table.

Prayers said, Randy.

Coffee and home baked cranberry orange muffin going down nicely.
Elderly garden club friend coming at 9am to help me pot some indoor plants into planters, replace ones that died.
Trying little succulents now, I usually can't kill them.

some showers last night, more today, more tomorrow in forecast, breezy day today.
First to entertain Miss Daisy. Then if not too wet, headed back to garden with propane torch for more burning.
Worked nicely though hard on my ground plastic, as expected. Some of the narrower openings have gotten a bit melted but they will be covered
with mulch in the Spring. Did my best to overheat but not char, instructions were clear not too much. Now long lines of dead brown plants.
