Ron, you and Betty are in all our prayers.

When our Mother was in her declining days, after 91 good years, her doctor recommended Hospice. Our Sister, a recently retired Trauma Nurse, came back from California and took care of her. It was a great blessing for all of us and Mom was very comforted by that.

63 right now...setting here near an open window and it's very comfortable. High, again, in the upper 70's today.
End of the week and I'm ready for the weekend!

330 am pain med time...back hurting.

My roommate escaped today, no helicopter required. He hurt his back rock climbing. He fell.
Already got new roommate, 72yo guy who had surgery. He will be good roommate, light off at 8 pm. Just wish the night tech didnt have to turn overhead light on just to take BP. The others dont, plenty light in here with foyer light on.

Wife and sons made it past nashvville today, taking youngest to college. Sister and BIL driving other vehicle.

Back to sleep time, making brownies in OT today. I said i needed help with baking skills, lol.

Good morning, the wind is up again and we are set for a day of heavy showers.

Ron, so sorry to hear that Betty has decided it is time to leave home. On Wednesday our son spent the day as a volunteer at a hospice. Afterwards he was telling me how much he enjoyed it, with so many kind people in one place and smiles instead of constant sadness that he had half expected. I hope Betty's hospice is just the same.

warm 76 going up to only 86 in more showers this afternoon, another half inch likely.
Headed downtown after breakfast to find ribs, having a few neighbors over Sat night and going to do
a barbecue.
Now I wonder if they have meatless ribs?...lot of front page news recently on how a plant diet extends your life, keeps you healthier.
Even Simon Cowell has now lost 20 pounds on the diet.

Am headed to Acres Meat Farm (yeah, funny name) where I will get some uncooked ribs and hopefully some of their home made baked beans.

I don't go here often, only 20 minutes from my home because absolutely nothing in it is healthy.

Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts and prayers. Betty will be on at home Hospice. She signed the papers yesterday. As ALS progress its this tube then that tube. She has no desire to leave this world in that way. Tough on us family members and friends. But we are all supporting her decision. Besides not being able to talk for over a year she is now down to 89 lbs. Very hard to swallow. Not good for a person that was around 140 most of her life. Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers.

Randy and buckeye, good news on your recovery.

LS, sure wish they would find a fix for your knee.

Jay, $400 copay every month. I guess if I added all ours up it would approach that amount.

PJ, sorry I missed your Birthday. Happy belated Birthday !!!

Trim the high area after work mow the main lawn.
Tree service drop both white birches trees from power lines all I can say what mess they made.
Mother 2 fawns visited last evening just before dark,one fawn has mind of its own. :laughing:
