Frost on grass this morning, heading to high 50s, maybe even 60F today. Sounds like most are handling the shutdown pretty well.

Grand daughter turned 6yr old yesterday.. we spread her gifts out throughout the day... she had something new to play with or wear all day.. video chat with cousins to sing happy birthday and blow out candles. All good fun. Daughter took the day off from work so enjoyed the day.

More layoffs are coming in healthcare.. it seems with so much 'non essential' shutdown, the only ones busy are the ones dealing with CV19.

We need a notary to finish up some paperwork for retirement... good thing I pushed date out until Aug 1 on that part so we have some time to get paperwork done..

Yesterday was nice and sunny, but with the winds, not that enjoyable outside... had a lazy day inside... except I did go out to shop and sort some more tools (I got a new toolbox for Christmas and I am still organizing tools).

Interesting you posted that, just got call from my Dr office regarding May 19 follow up, said they would do it remote via FaceTime. Then said, we can do it next week, we had lots of cancellations. I said I’ll wait, it’s just follow up. Don’t know how they will do my BP and blood draw. Lol.

Good Morning. It's a humid 71ｰ this morning and forecast says 89ｰ this afternoon.

Our pastures are still soft from weekend rain so tractors are still parked for now.

I took the Polaris out to check the live oak I started trimming last week. You can barely walk in the area where the branches were almost touching the ground.

COVID-19

The forecast peak resource needs for Texas, in the last week, have been reduced and moved from mid May to 3rd week in April. You can select your own state, look at entire US, or father countries.

That's the website model I referenced earlier this morning that showed the Virginia peak changing by a whole month in its update yesterday. It also reduced our projected deaths by half. It now projects USA deaths at 60,415, down from the 100,000 to 240,000 I had heard in the last revision. Still a big number, but it's nice to read good news of any kind right now.

I order a sliding bracket for a drawer, to replace a broken one, they said delivery in a month, then a day later it's 6 weeks.
