We didn’t get the frost this morning, but we’re under a freeze warning tomorrow morning. Covered the flowers away from the house.
Mowed grass today, just dropped the bucket and left the loader frame on, worked fine. Ellen trimmed everything.
I made a big pot of chili yesterday and had more for dinner tonight. Man it’s good!

Got my heart monitor off and ready to mail back to the lab.

Opened the box of post top lights I ordered from HD, I ordered and paid for nine, six in the box. They are supposed to pick these up and send me 9 from the store. Then they billed my card for the new lights and $79.95 for delivery!! They say the original lights and delivery charge will be refunded. We will see what happens.

BEF, I’m glad to hear about your FIL.

All you guys with snow, my condolences. It’s way too cool here for me.

Be safe and healthy guys, prayers.

Telemedicine? Hmmm ... virtual colonoscopies ???
Most Docs quit doing manual prostate exams. Turns out .. they don't like them any more than we do. Who knew?
Why not?

Probably would also work for a dentist to do a quick look.
Clean first.

BEF, glad to hear FIL is better.

36 going to 57. After looking at LS' beautiful pix, almost embarrassed to say we are getting a few snowflakes mixed with rain this morning. We are so snow deprived that my wife and I were talking last night about driving up to the mountains just to see their predicted 1 to 3 inches. Then we came to our senses

Glad "cooler heads" prevailed....since Eric is stealing sunshine.

Got no stimulus for my college kid, the one that needs it the most

I can't figure out why they would cut out 16-18 year olds??? Like they don't cost a parent money?

41-55 today they say, some early rain but not much.
Don- thanks for the link, saw, battery and charger for $186.99.

Today is my moms 97th birthday and I can’t go see her, that kind of brings home the ancillary problems this virus is causing. She doesn’t have long and I haven’t seen her on a month. I can FaceTime her sometimes and I’ll try that today. But it kind of bums me out.

Sorry you can't see your mom right now.

Meanwhile MD is going to make everyone wear face coverings when you go out. The CDC has done a 180 on their stance
about face coverings.

I'm a little upset over this, have felt from the beginning that everyone should be wearing masks in public, and only because we didn't have enough
we were literally conned to not wear them. I know why, we didn't have enough to go around. Now we do I guess, but why not be honest up front?
The rest of the civilized world is wearing them. So many people have died from this, I bet their families are wondering if their loss could have been prevented with a different approach up front.

Peace and happiness for all.

Me too Drew. 180. I've been wearing mine all this time in public. Sneezes and coughs can travel farther than they want to admit. It is the new fashion. Be a trendsetter.

Ron and all, nice photos. You guys up there with snow, please shut the back door.

I've had to water the garden because the last 2 storms skipped us. But not complaining about the last one skipping us. It hurt/killed a lot of people sadly.

Prayers for all in need.

Good evening all. 47F for the start, partly cloudy, light breeze. Sky cleared off, wind pick way up, and high temp was 71F. Putter this morning, cleaned out insert, bike ride before wind got out of hand. Nap after lunch clean out truck floor, 1/2 of dirt :(. Didn’t rain a whole lot, but enough to thoroughly soak the area I might have mowed, then rained on and off to keep it wet. Tomorrow?

My sister said she was getting out of hospital today, don’t know if she did.

For FIL, They need to go back in and get one more piece out. Don’t know when.

Nice pic, she must love the turtles.

Nice sunny sky pic also.

2020-04-17,

Up way too early!

31 right now...high in the mid-40's today. All this cold weather is my fault. I bought two straw hats for summer use and this is payback.

Might get an inch of snow tonight

Good morning, this is getting embarrassing, I have to confess that once again that we are enjoying a dry and sunny day. Thanks for the cloud and snow pics, I now long for views that are not just baking ground and empty blue skies.

Captain Tom Moore did some more laps with his walker to raise a few more pounds, the total is now an astonishing 」17,000,000

Good morning, the temp is 23°F and going to a high of 39. Wind WNW 8 mph. 30% chance of flurries or rain.

Today I will be finishing up my exhaust conversion. I haven't got the 48" stack pipe yet, so I will make do with the 30 incher. It is not surprising that I don't have it yet. It was coming from Donaldson in MN and going to Thunder Bay, then into the mail and sent to me. I just hope it gets here and not all bent to h3ll because the PO played football with it.
If you guys saw what the PO does with the parcel post, you would NEVER use their service. 'Handle with care' translates to throw it. 'Fragile' translates to throw it harder. I drove for a private contractor who had the contract to haul the mail for Toronto Postal Station 'A' to Barrie and Orillia. The routing and times (everything is set up on a schedule) were set in the summer and you were expected to keep to that schedule in winter and snow storms, too. The truck driver is responsible for making sure the mail bags go to the city/town that is on the label. I would throw a bag of 1st class back on the dock and it would get thrown back at me. One day I overheard the foreman tell his guys, "I don't care where it goes as long as it is off my dock". I would get bags destined for Newfoundland on my truck regularly.

We haven't seen PILOON on here recently. There was a small private airplane landed on Hwy 40 outside Quebec city yesterday. No accidents and no injuries. NTSB is investigating. I wonder where PILOON is, he flies and lives North of Montreal, Quebec. There was also one in B.C., on the coke-a-holla [not the right spelling but the right sounding] and another one in Calgary, AB.

I got the lube, oil and filter as well as the tires changed on the Dodge yesterday. No surprises, brakes good, pads and rotors O.K. Only $117.71 tax in.

Have a safe day all

Need to pour first cup of coffee. 28° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 35° with snow most of the day. Maybe 2”. As long is isn’t the amount that LS got. No internet this morning. Using Hot Spot to post. All of Comcast is down in community I live in.
Michigan state bird posed for me yesterday.
