Hummingbird showed up yesterday so we hung the feeders. Didn’t do much today, another bout with Afib, called the doctors office but never got a call back.
Today is my father in law’s birthday, a very young 84. He has a great collection of antique tractors, tools, toys, washing machines, liquor stills, etc... He built a train for kids to ride in, he builds carriages, built his house, barn and outbuildings, and he had a full time job until about 15 years ago.

I got all of the drip system completed... after having to go to 3 stores to get the stuff that I needed... a few pieces / parts from each one, but the list did get checked off. 2 hours later, I was able to get back to finish. The time allotted vs. physical ability did not match up today. Tomorrow will be mulch day! The project should be officially completed barring any setbacks. Final pictures to follow. Wifey is very happy.... that makes me happy!

Good evening all. 53F for the start, some clouds but foggy, calm wind. Wind stayed light, sky became partly sunny, and high temp was 74F. Started with lawn mowing, after lunch went for bike ride, no nap, had to go pick up pizza for wife.
Up to 4 active cases in Cooke County,(and 1 recovered), counties east and west are unchanged.
David Nice pics. Don't remember German TP but Dutch TP seem to work ok, I was in Netherlands when the guilder was retired in favor of the euro
Kyle my mom had it and younger brother has it. His heart rate was 400 bpm IIRC, He has had procedure to help the afib, I got check out, no signs at this point
Roy bummer about the vent.

45 and mostly clear...been outside looking at the planets...going to 70 then maybe a storm.

Mostly, pizza sounds good. We still haven't tried any restaurant pick up. I still haven't been inside any other building besides my house and barn since early March, when I bought some ammo. Yep, being careful, but also really just haven't needed to go.

Need to do the diesel fuel and dump run circuit again today. Got most of my wagon disassemble done, but much of the lumber is unusable. Still have the frame and axle to go.

Toppop, happy birthday to Ellen's dad...quite a man.

Good morning, We are at the high for the day of 32°F. Wind WSW 6 mph. Flurries.

Today is a hauling topsoil (bagged) and manure to the house from Sundridge. That ought to be an interesting endeavor.
28 Bags of manure, 4 bags of peat and 50 bags of screened topsoil. The Dodge is a 7 passenger van, so at 250 lbs/passenger = 1750 lbs it was designed to haul, less my and the riders' weight of 500 lbs, leaves 1250 lbs I can haul safely. The 4 bags of peat moss and the manure will go in one load and the topsoil in the second.

That is my day all set out for me.

Happy Birthday toppops' father-in-law.

Have a safe and healthy day all

Good morning, the sun is shining and I am about to go out into the garden. Today is a rare chance to play at welding in order to keep my wife happy, putting in steel lawn edging the same way as I did on the other side last year.

Trees are almost all in leaf, it is beginning to look more like summer than spring.

Blue sky again.jpg

PJ Sounds like you will be having lots of fun with your "anti songs".
I stretched my breakfast time this morning to read a little on what constitutes copyright of a song. It must be hard to get around the "Independent Creation" test, as everyone has heard most popular songs. Your ace could be having a deaf dog stay with you for a while longer, your wife can surely convince any jury that it hasn't been listening to anything, so maybe you could record any sound it makes, then do a bit of sampling ? Teaching a dog to play your guitars could be the tricky part ...

good morning all. 48 going up to 75 today in nice weather.
Headed out early with rv to local dealer to diagnose leak in water system of rv. Likely I did not drain the system correctly due to not seeing
a drain valve hidden in hard to see place.
Water pours out of freshwater tank when street water hooked up, and not supposed to be any water in tank to begin with...
.Either a bad one way value or I cracked a line in cold weather.
Unit is still well within warranty but warranty won't pay for frozen lines. Next Fall I'll have this dealer do the winterization for sure. Half an hour away instead of regular deal more than two hours away. Lots of good reviews online for this place.
Hopefully whatever is broken is minor.

Tomorrow I go for my neck epidural, really hope that helps.

45 outside this AM. Heading to mid 60's. It's a re-fuel the tanks day. Mine included. Need to start looking for a real job again. Along with everyone else I imagine.

Yeah, Daugen, dealer is best for RV winterization. I keep telling my daughter that. They know all the hidden valves and what not.

Need to be thinking about food too.

Have a good day all. Be safe.

Eric, you can count one lamb gone from your flock. I ate one of its' legs yesterday. :D

I just looked out when the daylight came and we got 2" of snow overnight. Not enough to plow, just enough to be a p.i.t.a.

53 going to 63 , calling for thunderstorms sometime today.
Pulled that pine stump I have been trying to figure out. Next to a gas line. Broke out the Sawzall and cut the main roots then strapped to the tractor and walla a new hole in the ground :)
be well all and stay safe. Today will be hole filling if the rain isn't too bad. **** day job takes up too much time. Never get outside till almost sundown.

/ Good morning!!!! #110,640
47°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 66° today.

Spent some more time fiddling with the camera accessories last night. Lots of options for mounting a GoPro just about anywhere. I doubt I'll ever need most of it, but it's still neat.

Happy Birthday to your FIL, Randy.

Some more great pics again today.
