I remember looking at that gun on the web when you ordered. Is your new range ready?

70°F and .04 inches rain. Ole Sol trying to make appearance today. A few hours of that should have everything growing profusely. Need to get back on the mowing.

Got some overhead storage together in tractorshed and with help of my forks got some stuff up out of the way.

Got basic locations of doors and window roughly marked out in the container. Not ready to start cutting them out.

Everyone keeps asking when we are getting another dog. Not in the plans, but sure gets me thinking. This is 1st time in over 20 years with just a single dog. Seeing Kekoa’s moping around has reminded me why I said it’s better to have more than one.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Never had more than 1 dog at a time except for when I was young. Only had 3 dogs since we were married, 2 were older that we took in. Had more cats. And no lizards.

My FIL has a couple lever action guns in his collection. I don’t know enough about them to know what they are.

Sprayed some cancer juice on the weeds.

One storm just passed through, dropped from 86 to 71, .53 inch from it, looks like round two is on the way, but appears to be weaker.

Got my grass mowed today, started around 7:30 AM, I was still soaked when I finished.

We made soft tacos for dinner, black beans and corn with salsa to go with.

Drew, Frank and Mitzi Perdue were long time customers, one of the jobs we did was pad all the kitchen cabinet corners and edges. Frank was tall and absent minded about that stuff.
We also made a pad for the wall in their bedroom, Frank would be on the treadmill while reading the paper, he forgot to walk a couple of times and slammed into the wall.

RNG, the fan vents into the attic space, creating positive pressure, ventilating the attic out through the eave vents and ridge vent. It effectively reduces the attic temps substantially.

You should notice a huge difference with that, in terms of being able to keep your place cool ...

We did with ours ... ;)

BEF - your concern about laminate flooring in areas that get wet isn't misplaced.

Marlin and a Winchester. I didn’t see any marking of caliber.

Looks good 🤙
My garage is just 24x24 which I thought quite sufficient when I built it. Often I think I should have made it 3ft wider each side and in middle.

I've never measured ours. Have to do that when I get home tonight.

Finally remembered to go out and measure the garage. Ours is 24x24 as well.

I also discovered that the freebie 25' tape measure from Harbor Freight only actually extends to 23' 10". Close enough for free, I guess.

FWIW, I used to mow my 3-4 acre field with tractor and 72 rfm. I致e been mowing it much faster now with the 60 zero turn.

I did some internet window shopping this afternoon. Found some RFMs for anywhere from $300 for a beat-up Woods to $1250 Mahindra brand new on sale at a local dealer. Then they went up from there. All the decent looking 60" zero turns were around $2500 (used) and up.

Thanks for the personal experience, BEF. I'm thinking that's probably the wiser choice.

Our old house had a big 30" whole house fan. It would make the whole 3600 sq ft down right chilly at night. The new cottage was supposed to get a quiet cool fan, but was cut out of the budget at the last minute. I am kinda glad it did get cut out, the one I was going to use was around $600. This one is a quiet cool fan, but I bought everything Ala Carte.... at a cost of $215.

I was wanting a ceiling exhaust fan for my garage that was quiet. Keep posting pics. Where did you get the fan from?

BEF, we have wood flooring in the kitchen, no regrets so far.

Apple Watch arrived today for the Heartline study down loaded all updates and installed the ECG app. Took my first 30 second 1 lead ECG and it was normal. The study should receive it, I'll verify it tomorrow. Drew the app does detect AFIB. Once you get settled you might want to look into it.

Good evening all. 77F for the start, overcast, light breeze. Light wind except during thunderstorms, about 2 in rain in gauge, partial clearing late afternoon, high temp 83F low temp during rain was 72F. Had meeting this morning, then drove home in rain. Shopping trip this afternoon and then bike ride. No nap :(
Covid update: Cooke 182 confirmed cases, 7 active cases, Montague 46 confirmed cases, 5 active cases, Grayson 939 confirmed cases, 63 actice cases
Dennis, sorry about being hungry, Not sure why your wife thinks hardwood wood be any to clean than linoleum. We have wood looking floors, no problems yet, we did not install them so not sure what they are. We do clean kitchen up shortly after they happen. Finish on these floor wore off in office
Drew is on the loose! And no helicopter required :) Sorry about the head gouge hope it does not need stitches. Doesn't sound like you are very far from getting things under control.
Ron good to hear ankle is better. Hope you get done out in heat quickly. Was not a fishing trip, we were assembling fish habitat and putting it in the lake.
Billy hope the new coffee batch turns out ok
Don, back in the old days a wet bulb temp was from a thermometer with a wet "sock" over the bulb. The temp and the difference in wet bubl/dry bulb temp gave you a dew point. Wife used to do weather observations as part of her job. Hope your training is successful with Whipper's barking.
Ted sorry about the internet, and ceiling fan project not going well.
Rick, nice amount of rain, how long will the soil moisture last there.
RNG as explained to Ron no actual fishing, will take up to 2-3 week for fish to start using new habitat. Glade welding went well hope the rust conversion goes as well.
PJ in the wide open areas I like tractor with rear finish mower better than ZTR. Ride is better.
RNG neat video, would love to see video of your face when lizard was running up your leg. :D
Brandon welcome to GM thread
David with your rain bet you can't afford to get behind. Sorry Kekoa's moping, Scooter getting dumped here was enough to get him moping. He eventually adapted, unless stepdaughter did not come home after 2 weeks :)
Birs we got more (see wx report) and need it. Indian Creek dried up last Friday but running now.
RS does not sound as fun filled as most of your days are. Nice pics
Frank nice to hear from you
Drew, are you going to raise the grill up higher?
Ted looks like your usual standards.
Billy that is a gnarly looking bug
prayers for all, especially Drew and his transition to PA, Jay/Peg, Kyle's daughter, and Country.
Stay safe and healthy you all.

The rfm will be lowest cost. I have a 20 yo king kutter rfm. Replacement parts at TSC. Replaced 3 spindles and a few tire tubes. I put a couple solid tires on it.
