All done here, was a non event, little rain or wind.

Hope all you East coasters are safe and fairing well.

Need to go to PO again, Mail wasn’t up when Zi went yesterday. That is dependent on what time the delivery truck makes it. Often late on Mon due to increased load. Oh well, Kekoa gets another truck ride.

Did get dogs area mowed, quite thick from the sun and rain. Will get the pool area with Craftsman today.

Picked some nice CUKES in the garden, gave some to Cottage tenant some of the cherry tomatoes about to ripen. Corn silks turning brown so I think will be ready soon. Ears don’t seem very fat.

Sun is shining brightly now and has been since about noon. We had around a dozen tornadoes in the area, closest I know of was a couple of miles east. Storm was over except some residual wind by about 11 or so, still getting gusty wind. I ended up with at least 3 trees either down or leaning badly. Limbs everywhere, but only about 1.25” of rain. Temp dropped to 72 but back to 80 now. I guess I’ll go survey the damage.

Cable is out so no internet, this is cellular data talking now.

Lost power and internet and Cell for a while-back up now.
Neighbors tree came down across driveway, looks like he hacked it up already.
Lots of branches, some pretty big, cleaned quite a few off driveway so far.
2.5" of rain total.So not the worst we've had, but pretty bad.
Coworkers up in North NJ just lost power.

getting pictures in from friends, locally in Washington of piers ripped to shreds and several feet of water in basement(homes are raised).
And up in Bucks County PA, tornadoes did a number, several roofs on Doylestown Hospital were ripped off.

Looks like one home was lifted off the foundation and moved about twenty feet, with the lady inside. Apparently other than bumps and bruises she is ok. Another several had roofs removed, guess I’m lucky to just have trees down.

this is friend's home and dock is in flower bed I planted this Spring.

Sunny and breezy here. Much cooler. 2 1/4 inches in the rain gauge. There are a few sticks down in the yard. The newspaper said if we got 4 inches of rain it would catch us up for the year. Hopefully what rain we got is not too late for the corn. Tomatoes are producing pretty good. My wife got a little carried away this year so she will be making juice and sauce. Local peaches are very good. I love them.

Good morning All.

66 and torrential rain right now. At dawn we had a light drizzle and 74.

Tornado warning expired at 10am. Was pretty gloomy earlier with that gray-green sky that portends twisters in our region.

Forecast is for Isiais to have left us later today and for breezy sunshine by 4pm.

I hope everyone in the track of this storm further up the line is as fortunate as we’ve been so far.

Sunny and breezy, temperature back to 77. Emptied more than 7” of rain from the gauge (7” is the last line and the container was full). No significant damage except a huge game of pick-up sticks!

I was able to move the downed tree this morning and cleanup the bigger broken limbs with the New Holland. I’ll finish picking up the smaller branches, with the LS later.





Sounds like our east coast friends .. are safe.

I'm glad to hear that everybody seems alright except for some property damage.
you might consider rinsing off your vehicles and your RV because the water that comes in on those hurricanes can have a high salt content.

It looks like 7 trees either down or leaning badly. I can watch them rock in the breeze. Called insurance company, now I need an estimate. They said if I send an estimate from a local service they will just direct deposit the payment, because they have so many homes and buildings damaged that take precedence over material damage. I love State Farm!

Doing a bunch of genealogy today, got lots of relatives near Sedalia, lot buried at pleasant green cemetery right along the trail.
