67 and blustery, 22 mph currently, severe thunderstorm watch, special weather statement. The front Is near but the line of showers is very narrow. I think it’s going to be mostly a wind shift line here.

Good morning all

41 now high in the 40’s and sunny today.
Got some rain overnight which we still really need. Didn’t get the high winds but that’s ok with me.

Mostly - that’s a huge jump in population and would make me run for the hills, well maybe not run more like trip, stumble and fall.

Not much planned for today, maybe change the belts on the snow blower.

Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning, the temp is 35°F and the high will be 34. Wind W 17 gusting to 24 mph. 60% chance of flurries.

The lights went out at about 9 last night. They had been flickering on and off all day. With the rain all day, the wood didn't get chucked into the basement. Maybe today.

I have a town run today, that comes first, then take the day as it comes.

Have a safe day all

good morning all
48 out now going up to only 52, mostly sunny day
Then dry weather for next week.

Since I can't find any electrical outlets on outside of this small house think I'll have
to invest in some more solar powered Christmas lights. They have worked well for me in the past.

If this were my garage, first it would get insulation, then a paint job. I like the idea of white paint to brighten it up.
Hope you all have a good start to the week.

Car is still drying out

Rip, what do you have to do to dry out a car?

Chris

Roll it into the barn, hit it with blowers and heat lamps.

Will call insurance today, to see what they recommend before I try and turn it over.

45 heading to lower 50's today. Lots of high winds yesterday. No trees anymore to worry about around the back of the house. In the front it will be pick up stick day.

Need to see about the car today. Maybe an engine start day, all other systems are go! Shout out to SpaceX.

RTV sprung another leak. So I crawled under and over it to replace more hoses yesterday. Only took about two hours. It is good to go for another decade. That unit will probably out live me, and with less troubles. Impressed, it is a first year model.

Worked on some more of the foundation under the front porch yesterday. And finished the primer and paint work on the support beams. Our local HD had no porch posts, so another trip out sometime this week is on order.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe.

46 going to 59 and sunny. Saw several shooting stars out this morning.

Rip, hope you get the car dry and running. We never got the rain forecasted from that storm, just the wind.

Buppies, mice are a frequent thing here, especially this time of year.

Spent a few hours doing some hydraulic engineering at our bridge yesterday...lots of storm debris and accumulated sand, gravel, and silt to shovel. Was actually fun seeing how I could reroute the flow, and watch the current erode mini- jetties I built and create mini-sandbars. Never got tired of playing in mud puddles, I guess. Found debris from the flowing flooded creek over 60 feet slightly uphill from the bridge. Worst flood we've ever had. Changed the stream course further downstream.

Coffee is done brewing. 36° with cloudy skies and a brisk wind. Heading to 42° with continued wind and some sun in PM. Did not conserve energy all day yesterday. Cut up some apples and put them in dehydrator. Then washed a pile of dishes. Back to conserving energy today.
Governor has shut down part of the Michigan again for 3 weeks. :banghead:

Riptides, hope car will start OK.

David, windows look OK to me.

Mostly, giving it my best try.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.
