I have all my 1099's. Could yours be sent to wrong address?

possibly, told my brother in VA to be on the alert. All my mail went there for two months, now here.
Usually the January statement shows last year's interest paid, but nice to have correct paperwork.
All my investment stuff is with Wells Fargo and I can go on line and print out docs there also.
With the exception of big medical bills last year, nothing much changes with me year to year.
Have never been audited in my life.

looks like the snow is passing by on the West and headed into New England, so should be cloudy but mostly dry day here.

Good morning.
It’s 19 with a high of 35 forecast, chance of snow showers.

Yesterday was a relaxing day, I did shovel out around the shop heat pump, generator storage shed doors.
The pop up repair task for the day was a Mesa Boogie guitar amplifier. Luckily it was an easy fix, it must have seen a power surge and took out an MOV. I was impressed with the design and construction, it was very well made.

Kyle, I still putter around on a trials bike, but it’s a few decades newer than Sammy Miller’s BSA, it’s only 37 years old.

I’m the older rider.......

Daughter was fine, damage to her car was not too bad, but it’s definitely going to the body shop.

Still no vaccine.

Looking, 3 hours in the cold plowing snow. No way.

I have a cab and heat, lots of heat. So much heat that I have to shut the blower off or keep it on low and open the windshield to the first stop on the adjustment lever.

I need to figure out a way to open the rear window only a set amount like about 2". Presently it opens all the way or not at all.

Got a bunch of tax stuff in mail yesterday, 1099s and W2. Funny thing is post office never sent email showing any mail yesterday.

All the kings men will be appearing soon to take it away.

13F snowing low 20's for high,2-4 inches snow expected before midnight.

Outside chores done toast time.
Deer feeder got good work out over night about 80lbs food for 17 deer.

Plans for today...fill deer feeder,late day push some snow other than that putter.

Poured first cup of coffee. 7° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 22° with sun in afternoon. another 2" of snow overnight. Need to clean walkways today. Worked on cleaning up sewing room yesterday. I think I am seeing the end somewhere in the future. Today will be another day working toward that end.

Buppies, hope well fix is simple.

Mostly, good news on vaccine appointments.

Randy, next month for spring to start. :thumbsup: All we have to do is survive DST on 3/14.

I never got last months Costco credit card bill, but I got a collection letter from them yesterday, even though I paid the bill online.

Also never got my electric bill. I tried to pay online, but it hasn’t shown up in my bank statement online, not sure I entered things right. Their online payment form was confusing to fill out. I had to call them to get my online account even to work.
I still need to deal with dish, my HD receiver hasn’t worked in months, bill increased to over $100 a month. I unplugged it when it had an electric burning odor.

24 at midnight, 38 now and 48 later. Raining now and 90% chance today.
I checked out four weather models, we are certain to get rain, snow or sunshine over the next week, likely all three.

I’m going to work on the footstool today do I can collect my pie from the older lady.

I find that since I heat my garage with propane and it doesn’t like to light in very cold weather, I open up the access door and turn the electric space heater on it for a few minutes. That gets it moving.

BEF - when electric devices lose their smoke, they can't work too well :-(

I heard one time that if they printed out the tax laws and updates, double sided, it would fill a decent size room.
it would fill more than 7500 letter-size pages according to multiple sites!

Still waiting for some 1099 forms here. but most have come in.

More snow coming. Trying to figure out where to put it when it comes.

I lost my biggest snow dump (50x50') when I got stuck. The upper dumps, 2 of them are getting fuller than I like them. The two lower dumps are o k for now. I think I am going to hauling snow soon. Carry it from around the house and upper dumps
down to the fourth dump which is only 20x40'.

The roads foreman of the township I pay taxes to saw me yesterday putting snow into the ditch which is township property. He was on a grader winging back the banks. I wonder what the repercussions will be.
In the 26 years I have been here the township has NEVER cleaned out the ditches. In spring after I put the hoe back on I will clean out my own ditch, all 410' of it.

It was coming down pretty good when I went to bed around 10:15pm, but we only got about another inch or so. Roads were challenging this morning, and people all around the STL area took the opportunity to reinforce their status as sh***y drivers. (shaking my head)

Mostly_, the couple who picked up the Bowflex came over from Ballwin MO.

We have all of our tax documents for this year as well. And I completely agree about a flat tax, Drew. Unfortunately, something so sensible has no chance of ever being implemented.

I have a few friends who play Boogies, Paul, and not a single one of them dislikes them. There's a reason they enjoy a good reputation.

I don't think it matters anymore were you are from as far as drivers that must have their heads way up were the sun doesn't shine.
I have a scanner and it is ridiculous the number of single vehicle incidents when it snows or even when it's snowing.
So many people and municipalities have this bare road mentality and drive that way on snow and ice with worn out summer tires.

A flat tax would be a great idea, but as said it will never be implemented for several reasons.
One, what would you do with all the parasitic bureaucrats that would be out of a job.
And number 2 all the shysters that write and dream up all the different and conflicting regulations and "laws"
are the ones that would have to implement it and what would they do to continue sucking the lifeblood from people.

Other then that and the fact that it's snowing AGAIN.
