63F and partly cloudy @ 13:30, headed up to a high of 66F. Rain due in after midnight.

Noticed this morning the purple and yellow crocus are now up ... (y)

Called and spoke to Roberto at Menards yesterday. They only had one of the items I had ordered six of ... said inventory was wrong. Not sure if that's really accurate ... or if they just couldn't find them.

Kubota moved around back and bucket unloaded.

Hopper and two sunflower tube feeders refilled.

Glued up and clamped small chip on barn owl box.

All fish fed.

Removed snowblower from Kubota and put box blade on.

Unloaded pallet of cat litter from van, still have some of that left to put away before the rain gets here tonight.

Cleaned up leaves in planting bed in front of garage and hauled debris up to compost pile. Worked for a while on incorporating the remaining grass clippings from last year into the pile and getting them covered. Probably have about one bucketload left to do.

Gathered up recyclables and loaded into van.

More clean up in garage.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day today ... (y)

Ron - nice turkey pic ... (y)

Ted - hope they can get things sorted out for you and locate/remedy whatever is causing the inflammation.

Mostly - hope wife's issue was not a heart attack.

David - hope Sophie enjoys her night out and birthday dinner.

Glad to hear folks are having success with getting vaccinated. Still appears to be a considerable problem here I'm afraid.

Dad's birthday was April 1st - he always liked to refer to himself as an "April fool".

So much to do, So little time. Why did I ever retire?
As I've grown older, I learn about more things I'd like to do, and I keep running into things have no choice but to do. I'm grateful I had the option to retire, even though there's little chance I'll get them all done because the list is getting longer faster than it's getting shorter. 🤣

Drew, there are still no cruise ships leaving the US ports because:

“The CDC lifted its no-sail order in October and replaced it with a conditional set of rules; industry officials say the 40 pages of rules are either indecipherable or impractical, such as a measure requiring cruise lines to conduct “simulated voyages” with volunteer passengers.“I refer to it as the ‘impossible-to-sail order’ because no business could operate profitably,” Capt. John Murray, Port Canaveral’s chief executive officer, said.”

If the CDC's "impractical" conditional set of rules do not change they will expire Nov. 1, 2021.

LS good news but what's next, continuing on with PT?
