Tractor goes for its 100 hour service the next time they’re in the area with a rollback. If I go on their schedule they don’t charge for pick up and drop off. That’s way easier than loading it in my trailer and driving thirty miles each way.

I’m sitting here infusing my last dose of Rocefin, nurse comes by later to pull the mid line. After 17 doses I hope I’m cured.

Got a good scare by opening a cabinet in my toolshed yesterday and looking face to face with our 6 ft blacksnake. This particular cabinet door had been left open the day before. I had to drive extra slow when mowing around the shed to make sure it had not come out. I sure hope it got that mouse that has been eluding my traps.

Oh my goodness.

Could have given me a heart attack!

I’m like Indiana Jones - “why’d it have to be snakes”!

For you guys with Canada Goose problems, although they are 'protected' in Canada, if you kill the female the male will leave.
In Canada if you kill a Canada Goose, make sure there are no witnesses and bury it deep. SSS

Are Canadian geese easily distinguishable from US geese? Do they wear a maple leaf?

My neighbor has the ponds the geese fly in and out of. I get to watch and listen to them without the damage. I like watching them fly over.

Not fond of snakes either, but keep the black ones. I make lots of noise before entering my old shed, and look up in the rafters. They have scared me.

Still at work, arm still sore from yesterday.

The rain held off today, so the insurance adjuster/appraisor/inspector, or whatever you call them, was a very nice young man who went all around the house, then up on the roof, and when he came down, said that we do need a new roof.

I hope that's good news, Bird.

The roof on the first place I bought failed the per-purchase inspection, and the owner had another roof (asphalt shingle) nailed over top of the existing one. Ten years later when I sold the place, it failed again. It seems the manufacturer of the shingles was involved in a class action lawsuit, and the settlement covered half the cost. I had a little trouble finding a roofer that would nail on a third layer of shingles, but eventually did. That was probably 20 or so years ago, probably too long ago to apply to your roof, but I thought it worth mentioning.

No snakes allowed here, they eat chicken eggs.

Was glad to hear Coco is getting back to "her" normal. Hope things get better.

I need to mow today, still waiting on mower roller bearings for The Beast. I guess I will break out some other equipment if the fields are not too soft. We just got a decent shower for about 5 minutes.

Yucky story. So you remember me saying we still had cracks in the yard leftover from last year's drought? After the 3" rain we got last week, I was walking across the backyard and I saw what looked like a cherry colored bubble on the ground. It was a toad that had not got out of the crack in time as the clay swelled from the rain. Apparently, it had croaked before he had a chance to give his last proper croak. I saw another near him, and he was stuck. I got out my small shovel and freed him. Free the toads! The cat will probably do him in too. Mean cat.

Daughter and wifey will start Prom preparations tonight, doing toenail and fingernail painting....and practicing on the makeup.....again.
With so many easy-to-catch toads, the snakes won't need eggs, just Atlas gloves. ;)

No snakes here. My favorite is the wasp/ hornet aerosol that shots 20 ft.

Pleasant surprise in town as our favorite breakfast place was open. First time will have been there in more than a year.

Lots of empty spaces in HD electrical dept and wire not only scarce but expensive. I really feel for anyone have to build right now.

As for Hand & Foot, 3-2 Guys favor up to this week.

Bruising is progressing... found a couple more. One right on top of the new knee.... I have been having some issues walking since yesterday afternoon, the tendons behind the knee are really complaining. I'm sure they got stretched / irritated.

Today, just took my time walking and did some of the PT exercises, seemed to help.

Drew, glad your shoulder is doing good! Try to take it easy....(said by the guy who can't stay still for more than 5 minutes). I feel for 'ya....

I still need to read more posts to get caught up.....
