Good morning!!!!

I sent that bug picture to my brother in VA who thinks they are a couple of degrees cooler at their elevation and it will be next few days when cicadas
pop out.
The bad news is apparently copperhead snakes love them and will come out to eat them, climb trees and other places to get them. Be careful.
Copper heads will ease out onto the street in front of the house and lay under the over hang for the oak trees. Thankfully my dog will avoid them on our walks and will divert me away from them. I let her lead the way this time of year.

Neighbor spread a bunch of moth balls around their house and driveway. Figuring they must have encountered one already.

We've had a couple king snakes hanging out in our yard, so hopefully they will keep the copper heads away

65°F and .92 inches rain. Hoping for a drier day as I get back to my caretaker project. Even though my cut area is covered, things get wet if raining if even slightest breeze. Prefer not to install wet items. Only a small area left requiring the insulation board, but will use cut offs rather than a full sheet where possible.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Dump run and those chores are done...
Flail mower is rigged to the tractor, but the PTO drive shaft wouldn't extend, so yanked it off, hit it with some PB Blaster...it'll come apart tomorrow and I'll really grease it up. I've had this problem with this one PTO driveshaft, even if I grease it at the end of the mowing season...and, I don't leave driveshafts on implements left outside...but, this one has been a minor problem almost every year
Did the lawn...must have been a million dandelions...well past the yellow flowery stage.
Getting a tad warm now....84° according to Weather Underground.
Time for some chow and a beer, I'd say...

It seems if 1 dandelion mowed in couple days 2-3 will take it's place.

They're coming..........

one million per acre
this should be fun
About 16 years ago the cicadas were real bad here. Had to shut windows to hear the TV and then they disappeared until this year. They were not too close to the house this time as I have cleared a lot of scrub however my wife still kept complaining about them. Luckily ?? I can't hear high pitched noises any more so I couldn't hear them. I am not going to put in my hearing aids just to listen to them.

Best time of year for working outside. Just wish I was a bit healthier. (aka younger)

Ok, I know this is going to sound silly but my wife got a text from a friend who was wondering if a magnet stuck at the site of our covid injections (Moderna and J&J). A guy in her small town was showing the people in town how it stuck at his injection site and one person took a video and she saw the video. Pub med talks about the Superparamagnetic nanoparticle delivery of DNA vaccine - Superparamagnetic nanoparticle delivery of DNA vaccine - PubMed

I know there is a lot of documentation of the injection site and the magnet and the myth was debunked. But does a small magnet stick to anyones injection site? My wife's friend has not had the vaccine and is scared of it and I just wanted her to know how many of the real tractor guys vaccination sites held a small magnet if any.

Best thoughts and hopes for Coco.

Have to admit when I first saw that tractor I instantly regretted not responding to the email. That said, I’m very pleased that my friend John did get it. He needs it more than I do. But, if having a tractor is good, having 2 is twice as good.

I have encouraged him to join TBN and dip into the pool of knowledge.

25 pieces of fiber board in that end wall but good use for the cutoffs. They will be covered anyway. Didn’t cut into any new sheets.

Good evening! 72 now. Got to about 83 today with some humidity.

mowed most of the lawn last evening, wife helped. Finished today.

Wife did some string trimming, I got some plants into the garden. Just the usual mostly. Dukes, tomatoes, and peppers. Did add something unusual, planted some Greek Oregano. The onions, lettuce, and radishes are doing well.

Eeveryone stay safe out there

Yes, I have heard that too and there were a number of videos but all were taken down. My friend sent me a link and within a few minutes it was taken down also. Why? anyway, further discussion on here may result in posts being removed if our thinking is right. Personally I will avoid any of the existing vaccines as long as I can. I will PM you. No info will ever make it to youtube but there is a new one called brandnewtube that has some good info.

Coffee is brewing. 68° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 84° with PM thunderstorms. Went out to get started on yesterday's projects. It was raining. Huh, not forecast. Did get bee traps out and cleaned. Rest of day turned out to be a conserve energy day. Need to make up some sweet stuff up for traps and Hummingbirds. Garden pond maintenance today. Some NASCAR in afternoon. Should be interesting. Will be at a road course near Austin, TX.
