Good morning!!!!

/ Good morning!!!! #133,562
Strangely cool weather after 93 yesterday, a little very light rain. Warmer then more 60’s on the weekend.
Went to wife’s grand nephew’s birthday party yesterday, kids were in the pool, we were in the AC.
I took a couple of chairs to a friend’s house this morning, filled my pill box, emptied the dish washer, now it’s time to put on my treasurers hat and get the car club books up to date for tomorrow’s meeting. Anyone else have this much excitement in one day?

71°F and no rain.

Switching gears abit. Have to insulate bedroom area with fiberglass, then. Can Sheetrock that ceiling. Arms and shoulders still talking from yesterday.

Zoom Happy Hour this afternoon.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

What are guys using to enclose below your decks? I’ve got old warped and ugly vinyl lattice and I want to replace it as well as make an enclosure for my HVAC compressor.

Same, but with enough support to not warp.

My lattice has actually broken at a couple of corners where it’s well supported.
The reason I went with the white vinyl is my handrails are all white vinyl. But I have to something, maybe improper support is my problem.

I pulled the lattice off the north end of my deck and put in 2x8s to close it in completely. Although there are still some holes here and there for air movement. I may end up this fall making a door for there and store the roller and mower under the deck.

I had a successful day until the bugs drove me inside. Got all of the Dodge waxed and polished except for the drivers' side door. I'll do that tomorrow morning early IF it is not raining. So far it doesn't look promising.

Good luck with your car hunting Kyle.

Kyle the only add on the bulletin board in the neighborhood was a 2005 Lincoln Town Car, 50,100 miles, gold/tan, leather interior, brand new tires excellent condition - $8,500. (looking up the MPG 18 city 25 hwy.)

Hello all.

It’s been very busy here with the house and farm and work. I haven’t been able to keep up-to-date.

It’s drying out, so tomorrow I hope to get to the farm and mow all the berms that have been water soaked since early April. Grass is quite tall. It needs a good mowing.

Beginning this Wed., there is a big Pickleball tournament at my wife’s place. It goes thru Sunday. We will have 36 courts of Pickleball going all day long. Never seen this before - it’ll be very interesting. I’m told, Pickleball folks drink lots of beer. So, we ordered lots of beer!

Stay healthy all.

MoKelly

Got manual for Kysor Johnson R horizontal cutoff saw. Adjusted blade to get square cut on a piece of steel. Not a pretty looking saw. But it will do the job for me.

Home from moving my son to TN. 1392 miles.
Drove right by a colonial pipeline fuel depot in Knoxville, as we were bypassing a huge backup on I40 going down. No fuel problems, bought over 100 gal at over $300, but not at the depot.
Some stations had signs for limits of $100 worth.

Buppies, thought of you as they were doing night paving on I81 when we came thru Salem last night at 10pm. We got off to get gas, then drove thru the town to bypass a 6 mile backup on I81.

Raining which we needed. .2” so far today, only 58°.

Ate a couple grilled cheese sandwiches when I got home, then went out to see if I could figure out why the flail mower isn't rotating. Didn't see anything wrapped around the rollers. Tried to remove the belt cover, but the nuts were frozen to the studs. Hit all 4 with PB blaster and, with any luck, the nuts will come off tomorrow afternoon (when I get home). I'll have to get that cover off, sice I'm pretty sure the belts are smoked

45° right now...high in the upper 70's today...

Hopefully, the nuts holding the belt cover plate will come off this afternoon. Since I couldn't see anything entangled of the cutter blade rotor, the probem may be with the belts or pulleys...or, might be a frozen bearing of one or both ends of the rotor

Good Morning Everyone, greetings from BC Canada.

I just wanted you to know that I have been checking in a bit more lately, as I have some time again.

I just changed my Avatar photo from the John Deere LT160, to my recently purchased Jacobsen Super Chief 1450, so although it is still me scaredychicken, I have a new look :)
