Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...trim mow spots only need it on side field,putter,watch some college football....all subject to change with out notice.

So how long do you cook corn cobs for? I do them for 10 - 15 minutes. Is that too long?

Corn on cob to eat, 5 min. Put in after water comes to boil. We have a butter thing to apply butter afterwards. I put pepper on, wife likes salt.

Cider and donuts, yum. I like the cider donuts.

Apple pie is good. Wife took a bite expecting peach . Label said apple .

Up near Lancaster PA there’s a place called the corn wagon, which is literally 3 large farm wagons full of corn , one white, one yellow, one mixed. They sell lots other produce also.

If in husk corn can sit out for a couple days. Then we will husk and keep in fridge. I bet I might be able to find a few ears in the garden.
Tomatoes about done. Wife picked 9 more peppers yesterday.
Potatoes need dug.

57 and overcast, going to be sunny and 82...humidity still on the low side.

RNG, up too early, or too late?...I never liked corn until I was working as a surveyor one summer with a pair of twins that were vegetarians...back then that seemed to be rare...We were surveying to build a new highway through a farm field...it was lunch time and they each pulled an ear of corn off a stalk and husked it and started eating. They told me to try...how much sweeter it was uncooked...I ate an entire ear. I've loved corn ever since...I like to cook it on the grill, too, Ron...I don't add any butter or seasoning.

PJ, great what your wide has been able to do for the dogs.

BEF, I lost a lot of arm and upper body strength during recovery, but kept up the walking and hiking, so was able to tackle the 'rag" and it helped that it was a cool, low humidity day. It had been a goal to hike it by the end of summer.
