Cheapest gas in the area here is $3.19/gallon (as of 5 hours ago), most stations in the low to mid $3.30's though.
Lowest diesel was $3.38/gallon ... but that report was a day ago, most other stations report a little over $4.00/gallon today.
No idea what off-road is currently going for - haven't priced it since I stuck 150 gallons in the off-road tank back when it really dipped a couple of years ago.
That's got to be getting low at this point so will start paying closer attention to it in the coming months.

Sometimes they will go really cheap on a tank to empty it in a hurry. Local truck stop did that when they were fixing to upgrade there tanks.

On road diesel today was $4.499 per gallon,
unleaded $3.899, plus $4.099, super (ethanol free) $4.699

According to this website, I'd be paying $4.85/gallon for Diesel #2 in Chico, CA today. That's up almost two bux a gallon over what it was last year. Yes, Virginia, elections do have consequences...

Still 62° but it is real windy now.
My wife was cleaning in our bedroom today, getting rid of stuff.. she picked up a pair of leather shoes of mine, apparently not worn in a long time, as the soles totally fell off the bottom.

They had cedar shoe keepers in them, which she threw out with the shoes, so I had to retrieve those from the trash. She got rid of another old pair also.

It’s 57 and raining.
I’m glad I don’t have any pressing outside chores, it’s a swamp out there. The lane from the road to my house is long and winding, with 2 ninety degree bends, so it’s impossible to see one end from the other. The standard procedure for a conflict is for the outbound traffic to back up, as it’s not a great idea to back into the road, and pulling off the pavement would put you into the quagmire. However, my wife had a student from DelVal University helping her with the alpacas, walking around in the muddy barnyard. Well, when he was leaving, he encountered my daughter coming up the lane, and he pulled off to let her pass, and immediately submerged his Saturn sedan to periscope depth. I’ve got no idea why he thought that ground would be any firmer than he was walking around in all day, but I think he’ll pay more attention going forward. I brought the tractor down with a chain and a tow strap. There was not much to hook to on that Saturn, but I assured him whatever he hooked to would come out of the mud. I took a look under from the pavement and suggested that he lay on his belly in the mud and put the strap around one of the rear control arms. I pulled the control arm up onto the pavement, and fortunately for him, the rest of the car was still attached to it.
But that’s about the only tractor work I see for a while.
Today’s trip to Washington County had no hiccups, was rainy and overcast but a decent ride.
Tomorrow is to Martha’s Vineyard in a turboprop. Forecast is pretty windy and low ceiling there. Just windy here.
Our Diesel fuel is $4.25 on each of the nearest 3 corners. I’m glad that my off road tank got filled when it was under $3.

Yeah ... it periodically happens around here, where one or two station's price will be significantly lower than the others. Not sure what all drives it.

Unfortunately, so do worldwide pandemics ... (among other, similar disruptive events of a global nature):
Old economic rule:
Demand > Supply = Prices tend to go up
Until worldwide production catches up to demand, they'll probably remain high.
Barring any other disruptive events of a geopolitical nature of course.

I would hazard a guess that they want to get rid of the gas in a hurry or they are starting a gas war.
We've had gas wars up here and they are fun especially when the gas dips cheap enough. The last one the gas was .799 cents/imperial gallon, way back before Trudeau senior was the PM, he was also the one that shoved the metric system down our throats. To make us more competitive with Europe. I think he did it to snub the U.S.
