Ken, what is the red car. Fiat 124 Spyder? Twin power bulges on hood so twin sets of carbs, just can't place the brand.
Looks like an MG to me, but I could be wrong. Definitely British like the other cars.
Fiats were more curvy and had a curved down nose.

75F and Fair @ 11:00, headed up to a high of 78F supposedly. Scattered thunderstorms possibly beginning around 15:00 (45% chance initially, increasing to 77% chance by 19:00)

Thursday night's low temp has been lowered again, this time to 29F. Will need to cover potted plants.

Slept with window open, was fine ... other than whatever was chirping when I went to bed around midnight.

Three crows just flew and ran a squirrel off from the hopper feeder.

Tomorrow is Trash Day ... so refrigerator clean out and and hauling the bags up to the road is high on the list of priorities.

I'm going to see about finishing up the mowing in the front and see whether any more of the compost/wood lot can be mowed.

Beyond that, have a couple of large tarps I want to lay out and pin down over the garden area to kill off the grass.

And get the PT lumber cut for a new soil screener frame.

Told The Woman a little bit ago need to get the flower bed out back next to the frog pond mulched before the weeds take off.

Once the rain starts I'll probably head up to shop and see what trouble I can get into up there.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ... (y)

It’s just a 15 gal Northstar, so called high pressure sprayer. It easily sprays over my roof, I’ve used it with cleaner to clean the roof. View attachment 743285
Thank! That’s what I need. I have a smaller (15 gallon) that I got at tractor supply and I can see that your pump and lines are a lot bigger.

65°F and .93 inches rain. Another rainy inside day.

I did digest the new pool cleaner,a Dolphin Sigma, off on it’s maiden run. Nicknamed it Flipper.

Will continue straightening up the shop, much worse than I thought and will take some time reclaiming those horizontal surfaces. At least I’ll know where everything is when done. Envy those who work and keep tidy at same time.

Zoom Happy Hour this afternoon

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Roy, close but no cigar. No emblem on hood. No power bulges. Slightly different turn signals and air dam.

We need Eric!

MG, could be Ken.

Well, the macadamia tree is almost gone. I was in my barn chamoiing the Mustang. My wife appeared at the door and said she needed another battery for the chainsaw. Huh? She said she was chopping the tree down and was lopping branches and only had one branch to go that she could reach. I thought I better go and see what the heck she was doing. Hopped on my scooter and just before I moved, the dogs barked and ran around the house. Strange! Anyway when I got to the tree I found my wife lying on the ground under a ladder and huge branch. I extracted her and she was covered in grazes and bruises and huge blood blister.
"I fell off the ladder" she said. "I can see that" I said. She apparently was standing on top of the 8 ft aluminium ladder reaching up to cut this 5" round branch off. Of course when it came down it took her with it. I could hardly believe it.
I told her she should never go up a ladder with a chainsaw. I think she got the message.
I said "you've bent the ladder". She said, "well now you can buy a better one." I said "that was a better one". Today she has iodine on all her scratches and bruises. Lots of them. But other than that she is OK. Luckily the chainsaw missed her and survived with no damage. Hopefully she has learned from the experience. I wasn't aware she was getting up to mischief until the dog alarm. Here she is a little later. That's the branch that took her down. Can't stop a good woman.
Oh, she did ask, "is my chainsaw all right?" Whose chainsaw?

55°F and light rain this morning, going up to 62° today.

Was able to get some mowing done Saturday, after putting the rear wheels with the new tires back on the rider and the zeroturn. Still pretty soft in a lot of areas. Took one risk in the front between the pond and the road and buried the ztr up to the axles. Couldn't pull it out by hand, walked back to the barn for the rider and it slipped on the grass and wouldn't pull it either, so drove it back to the barn and got out the tractor, which pulled it with ease. Of course, now I have 6" deep ruts to fix in the front yard from the tractor sinking in. That pretty much ended my risky mowing. Walked the pasture and only found one moist area, so I mowed the rest of that excluding the sketchy part.

We were supposed to get rain and t-storms most of the day Sunday, but got not a single drop until sometime early this morning. Wife and I spent the bulk of the day reclaiming some garage space. Sorted through a bunch of stuff from storage, and reorganized the roll around tool box. We even actually cleared off about 90% of the work bench (!). It was another very productive day.

Had a blow up with the boy Friday night. Instead of concentrating on fixing the two non-running trucks he already has, he came home with a third vehicle, a VW Jetta. I lost it. Sat him down in the kitchen and laid into him regarding his unacceptable behaviors. I set goals for him, two of which needed to be met before the weekend was over, or things were going to get ugly. He got upset, his mom got upset ... it was not a fun conversation. Bottom line, though, by midday Saturday someone showed up with a wad of cash and took away the S-10 with the blown transmission, and by noon on Sunday he was carrying bags full of trash out to the can. Mission accomplished. He even got up early today and left the house at 5am to go to work early (he's always late). He apparently just lacked the proper motivational speech.

Still lots of reading to catch up here.
Think it call little bit of tough love.

60F high thin clouds strong breeze mid 40's over night.

"Slept with window open, was fine"...I ask the Mrs. couple nights ago if she mind if open the window overnight,I got the look which meant no. :(

Finally heard the peepers last evening. :)

Today...8 hours at pt. job. Met the new neighbors which brought old house at corner and there plans are renovate inside and outside from top to bottom but still keep it "cozy country look"...hmmm, he never own or rode tractor and wants one and riding mower, trimmer, chainsaw and shed for the equipment...told him better buy some OFF bug spray first before the blackflies and there cousin mosquitoes show.

No plans this evening feet up kinda night, out the door well before morning sun breaks.

Enjoy your evening all.

about half way through mowing the lawn the UPS truck showed up so I knew my torx bits had arrived.
#30 did the trick. Not sure I'll ever use a #60
darned nuts were still in one piece, both of them though were a little worn for the experience
I got the shop vac and sucked everything out and no harm no foul.

Good morning, low temp 55 and staying there. Wind SSE 9 mph. 40% chance of showers.
T-storms last evening didn't amount to much, but the rain sure did come down. Sounded like a freight train on the roof.

We got a lot of the rotten wood from putting up unlined wooden boxes around the house loaded into the trailer, they will go to the dump most likely by Wednesday.
Today is backhoe mounting and greasing day. I think I will do something I haven't been able to do for the past 18 years. Go sit on the deck in my 'altogether' and enjoy the morning.
Edit: 55 isn't as warm as I remember it from last summer. Chilly and damp. that only took 5 minutes.

Have a safe day all

‘Altogether’ - is that like a ‘onesie’?

LOL we had 72°F yesterday. And now the lake is fully open, and we could start to put docks and boats in. More work!

62F and temps dropping after the front came through, got 0.13" of rain. Headed down to a low of 44F overnight.

Got just about all the front mowed, also more done on compost/wood lot but still a lot left to do..

All the vegetable and fruit plants moved around back. Kitchen is now mostly clear of potting supplies.

Mister and Missus Mallard had just finished enjoying a little lunch:

Tulips and daffodils starting to make a good appearance:

Trash hauled up to the road and can set out for pick up tomorrow.

Woman ran out and picked up Jimmy John's for lunch and grabbed another 2 1/2 gallons of gas for the Cub. Also a peanut butter milkshake from the local creamery ...

2 x 4's cut for soil screener frame. These are ground contact-rated PT ... so they will likely last forever.

Got the new 1" hardware cloth unwrapped, some of the welds on one end were broken so it will need zapped with the MIG.

Started sharpening the spare set of mower blades for the Cub. Actually surprising at how good a shape they are in.

Got the parts washer drained, now just need to clean out the sludge.

There was an intruder back in the frog pond earlier, looking to court Missus Mallard. Mister Mallard wasn't having any of it and war broke out:
