Thomas, my late wife had 100% AV block and was totally dependent on her pacemaker for every beat. Her first unit last 7 years, she’d had the second one 3-4 years when she died, it was supposed to last a couple of years longer than the first one.
Thanks for sharing Randy. :)

so far, cloudy today, plans to mow the lawn (too much rain lately) ... so no doubt, as soon as the mower is started, there will be a downpour :)

When I was growing up, we ate breakfast in the morning, lunch in the middle of the day, and supper or dinner were interchangeable for the evening meal. I never heard anyone use the word dinner for the midday meal until about 15 years ago when I worked for the pipe organ company. I have since come to find that it's not as uncommon as I thought back then.

Pretty sure that Dinner is the main meal of the day and supper is the latest meal if you want to be grammatically correct.

Pretty heavy rain this morning and abated about noonish or a bit later.
Quite pleasant day now...bit cool (59°) actually

I use Chevvy Orange engine paint in a can to touch up my Kioti Paul. Excellent paint. Perfect match.
Been busy building a new RC plane. Using a Saito 4 stroke gas engine 21cc, electronic ignition. Also mowed 4 paddocks. Grass is slowing down but staying real green due to all the rain. Usually it has died off this time of year. Would be easy to get the tractor stuck (again) if I'm not careful. Very soft in places. I don't drive over the same spot twice. Did about half with the Flail mower and half with the ZT.
5 degrees this morning. Antarctic bast coming through. Bit of a shock to the system.

Hobbit research says this about meals ... :)

If you want to eat like a hobbit, these are the seven meals you need to eat in a day:
  • Breakfast - 7 a.m.
  • Second Breakfast - 9 a.m.
  • Elevenses - 11 a.m.
  • Luncheon - 1 p.m.
  • Afternoon Tea - 3 p.m.
  • Dinner - 6 p.m.
  • Supper - 9 p.m.

You can't make this stuff up

What plane? Saito engines are the best! Is it the true gasoline or nitro ?

The only nitro plane I have now is the Kadet Senior. I have the Saito FA120 4 stroke in it. Nothing like that sound when you a fly by.
I heavily modified it, added flaps and ailerons, made it into a tail dragger, big ballon tires on the LG for rough area take off / landings. I consider it my best flying RC.

Didn't get to work on the picket fence..... couldn't stand to see the wifey struggling with those area rugs. Helped with that, then decided to tackle cleaning the windows.... that is more entailed than it sounds....

Usually each spring, I take out the upper and lower sashes, clean all the embedded dirt from the wind, clean the frames, then reassemble. Takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours per window. Never got done this spring because of all the gale force winds. Got 3 done, 6 more to go.

Done for the day....

Storms to the north of us in Santa Fe, to the Southwest of us too..... nothing but blue sky here....

I think today puts us in the top 10 "longest dry streak", 80 days without precipitation. I just watched the 7 day forecast.... no more chances of rain predicted for the short term.

This is not good....

In NZ dinner was the middle of the day and tea was night time. In Oz midday meal is lunch and dinner at night.
I rarely eat breakfast. Sometimes some rice bubbles and fruit or corn flakes. Don't usually have lunch until maybe 3.00 pm Small dinner at night but sometimes lash out with steak and spuds and veges.
Just not a big eater anymore like back when I worked.

It's a Gasoline engine. My biggest one, but I also have a Saito FG 11 gas, a FG17 gas and a FA 82 Nitro as well.
The plane is a Phoenix Tiger 3 70" span. Designed for a 61 but I am putting the big donkey in it. I also have a large Black Horse Stuka still in the box to build one day.
Other planes are a Super Air and a Calmato. All in flying order.
I'll put a pic of it up when I get the tail feathers on etc. The gear is all installed. Just waiting on some servo extensions and Y leads and Tygon fuel tubing.
Always liked the Kadet Senior. Just never got around to getting one.
