The Algarve, Portugal’s southernmost region, is known for its Atlantic beaches and golf resorts. Whitewashed fishing villages on low cliffs overlooking sandy coves were transformed in the 1960s, and now its central coast between Lagos and Faro is lined with villas, hotels, bars and restaurants. The region's western Atlantic coast and rugged interior are less developed.

The Algarve appears to be the Portugese Riviera, and has now been discovered

RS, sounds like the "little woman" is getting you organized finally.

68°F and no rain.

Nothing too serious planned for the day. Plenty of small tasks to more than fill the time. Guess we’ll see which grab attention.

Hosting H&F this afternoon.

Researching upgrade our coffee pot. Thinking we may like one of those combo types, make a pot, single serve, or K cup. Recommendations?

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

finally fixed the trailer connector, new shield plus an adapter that changes to large connector and gives some diagnostic lights.
for under ten bucks, and very snug fitting adapter, seemed much easier than rewiring/soldering. Looks first world now too.
think I can snip off that smaller cover, no use for it

washed the car, happy to report scratches came off. Picked a couple of radishes, squirted them off and ate them on the spot.
I was taming my inner rabbit.

A late good morning today
56 at the moment looks like 58 will be high today

The Makita chainsaw plugged up with pine needles and the chain came off damaging a few teeth on the back side. Was able to file them into alignment and get it back working again.
The Verizon landline phone had noise on the line and it was traced back to the house. So changed out the line going into the house and discovered it was actually the connection to the cordless phone. Fixed for now but plan to change the wall connection soon.
Heading off for the post office and a little day trip around the neighborhood

Currently cloudy and only 49F with light rain, probably won't make that 51F high.

Hopper feeder refilled, also two suet feeders.

OSB and additional 8' lighting fixtures unloaded from van and car and moved to the barn.

Live trap checked - no customers ... :(

Height of bottom chord of trusses (sort of) verified (as best I could without climbing up there) - looks like they are 2 x 8's.

I need three 2 x 6 or 8's x 14' for concrete form boards for the overhead doors. Think I'll just reuse those after the pour for the framing for the attic access.

Length of liner panels (for the ceiling) verified - they're 20' 2"+.

I was worried they might only be 16' long which would probably have required a bunch of cutting.

As it stands now though, two pieces (end to end) will nearly cover the the width of the ceiling and I'll likely only a bit short - maybe less than 1'.

Will probably put the gap where I'm short in the center of the building ... maybe nail up some 2 x 4's on the bottom chords of the trusses and staple on some J-channel to set the liner panels in.

Woman fixed some tamales for lunch which hit the spot.

Menards order placed and ready for pick up.

Will be a solo trip so Woman can stay here and continue to get other stuff done.

We had one of those for the F-150, Drew, as it had a 7-way and the trailer has a 4-way connector. Worked great.

Good Afternoon, The high for today was 37 and that is what it will be overnight. Wind SW 10 mph.

We had about 1/8" of snow on the deck at 7 this morning.
North Bay had about an inch. By the time I left North Bay they had 2" on the ground and it was snowing pretty good. The snow stopped at around Lakeshore Drive (south end of town) and the roads were just wet all the way back.

The Jeep should be in its' new home by now. Buddy took it and 2 complete sets of 5 Pro-Comp mud and snow tires mounted on 3.75" + offset rims, as well.

I will be putting the new spring into the trailer tomorrow and flip it back onto its' wheels. Depending on how that goes I will probably chuck in some wood, too.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday are supposed to be sunny.

Stay safe all

Daughter looking for second job got hired and starts Monday as waitress at a steak house. She is excited and it is just down the street from her day job where she is operations manager for a drug rehab facility. Making ends meet for a single mother with two kids is a challenge.
Our traveler daughter in Germany was meeting with German government representatives and she brought with her Jack Dangermond who is a tech billionaire from USA that makes the mapping software that she uses in Ukraine
