LS I have had buffalo alligator tail that’s about it. If I did not know what it was might try rattle snake but my dislike for snakes is so bad I’d never try it knowing what it was

Ok, no more heaves....

The wind was fairly steady all day. Gusts weren't as bad as yesterday. Calmed down considerably now.

Stayed inside, did a few drawings and materials take off. Now just need to prioritize and figure out funding....that will be the tough part.

Did come to the conclusion to hold off on the mulch for now. Keeping the fingers crossed for the next sale....

The quantity of 'shortage' getting the smaller bags (1.5cf vs. 2.0cf) adds up quick. Shrinkflation at the finest.

Jay, beautiful pics of the cranes. There is an amazing refuge area near here called "Bosque del Apache". Thousands of migrating cranes and waterfowl find a good rest area. Google for more info. Quite the attraction.

Rip, take care, don't overdo it. Make sure you behave....

Buppies, hope the 'chewing out' from the doc isn't too bad.

Fritz, pass on our congratulations to your daughter. She is definitely special with her work ethics. Glad you got a good report from the stress test.

David, looks like it is welded already.... I must be missing something....

RNG, hope the contractor can get someone for the roof install. IMHO, I prefer metal over tile.

Time to go watch some PBS.

Even though there was fresh rattlesnake on the fire, and was offered a piece, I declined the offer.....
I have no idea of what rattlesnakes taste like... or alligator... or any other exotic animal.

I have this predisposition to not eating stuff like that .... I guess from watching too many PBS shows of people eating those giant grubs --- while still moving.

awwup!, awwup! Awwup!, hold on.....
:D... I'm not laughing at you, Mate. I'm laughing at some of the 'exotic' animals I've eaten in far off Ports whilst in the Navy.

One that comes to mind was in Manilla. I was stumbling out of a drinking establishment in the wee hours, after a few tipples you understand, and was feeling a bit peckish. Well, there on the street was a local bloke selling skewers of a local delicacy off of a hibachi grill, so I purchased one. After a healthy bite I enquired as to what it was?

He replied, "Chicken of the sea." and pointed 'up' at my quizzical expression.

Ah... seagull.

Quite tasty as I recall.

Good morning from Central Texas. Finally, some additional rainfall, 1.58" in the gauge. Needed very badly.

The USAF is developing a sixth-generation fighter. Due to classification, it is difficult to get a good glimpse of the future. They have already flown some prototypes but seem far from a conclusion on the airframe and strategy. The NGAD (next generation air dominance) program rumors include the "loyal wingman" where unmanned vehicles accompany the new fighter. Interesting concept.

Hope all have a great day and a safe and prosperous weekend. #USA1

Coffee finished brewing. 50° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 57° with good chance of rain in afternoon. Grocery shopping went well. Got organized to sharpen mower blades. Then it started to rain. Never got back to it. It's back on the list. NO plans for today.

Jay, I have daily Sandhill Cranes visit my place. They come from a 4,500 acre park. Two miles west of me. Fun to watch them land and take off.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

Good morning, the low is 35 and the high to 50°F. Wind E 20 mph. Showers.

I will probably work on the plow today.

Way back in the 1970s, my girlfriend at the time told me she had eaten rattlesnake and it tasted like chicken. I've never had the opportunity.

There is nothing I hate worse than an intermittent short. I think I would run a new wire.

Have a safe day all

good friday morning all
slept like a rock and feel good (y)

after doing my driveway shuffle, taking rv to truck tire place. It's a pretty drive and I will be much happier with all new tires on rv that are properly balanced.
I do have a question about air pressure. My aftermarket tpms system says my 80-82 pound air pressure, when cold, rises up to 92-93 when hot, at least a ten pound
rise. I'm told nitrogen eliminates that. RV rides like it has rock wheels, wonder if spending the money on putting nitrogen in is worth it. Place I'm going to is not likely to offer this.
If any of you have used nitrogen before, do you have experience watching the air pressure climb? Should I use the free air or the expensive gas?

Hand is better this morning, can make a fist. Still puffy and sore. Reminding me of my inabilities...

not sure, but might be able to stop at Popgadgets on way home and pull rv up to his garage for some work.
I drive right past his house anyway, with the bright yellow mailbox. That mailbox is a much better nav aid than my gps.
It's big, and it's bright yellow. Perfect.

I'm waiting to see when one of these show up on his new r/c runway. First time I drove into his farm my thoughts were
you could land a small plane here.

Wagtail, had to chuckle. The average US seagull living near the coast seems to live mostly in fast food restaurant parking lots.
Apparently enough food gets dropped, or thrown there, has become a new feeding ground for seagulls.
Free range gulls, better than chicken...

Not sure if Nitrogen will help ride. Get your Motorhome weighed on all 4 tires. Then set air pressures according to tire manufacturers pressure chart. If you cannot get all 4 tires weighed. Get it weighed at a truck stop. This will give you each axle weight.
Setting pressure to weight and chart made a big difference in ride and handling on my Motorhome.

Nitrogen will be more stable with less increase from the tire heating up because it's drier then the compressed air. It is the moisture in the air that contributes to the majority of the increased pressure. The nitrogen is dry but untill most of the air is displaced from the tire not much is seen, to be effective the tire has to be aired up and down several times to reduce the air (moisture) inside the tire. Dried air (air that has had the dewpoint lowered) does the same thing. The heavier the tire sidewall and the more flexing the more the temperature will build.

Drew-quick test to see if one of the cylinders is just not firing.
Pull one lead, see how it runs.
Connect and pull the other lead and see how it runs.
That's a good test, but make sure you ground the lead you pull off by putting a spark plug in it and grounding the plug to the engine. Leaving the lead hanging could damage the ignition system.
