Good morning!!!!

i used to tell the Scouts in our troop:

“God gave you two ears and one mouth, so you should listen twice as much as you talk.”

I also told that to my sister-in-law once. . . Hilarity ensued…

I suspect should I have a mental lapse and quote that to my wife she just might give me the opportunity to listen at least 2x what I might say.

Wife made a big pot of homemade soup throwing together a bunch of veggies like green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, browned turkey, bunch of spices including jalapeños. Very good.

. I didn’t get a picture of the alpacas, they are so cute. And Zoe is huge.

She’s just 7 months old now, probably 60% of her adult weight.
Dennis did get to meet Luca as well, and oldest son was flying an RC plane while we worked. And I tell him that he works too hard…….

I looked at a lot of hitch extenders, seemed 7 inches was the longest that made sense, reduces 5000 capacity down to 3500 but that's ok, less than gvw of trailer.
so I ordered this one and will try it out when I get home.
and also ordered a variety of fiberglass repair materials.
this pic is bigger than life, think I'm going to two step it, fill it with one product, let it dry, sand, and final coat of another product that comes in the desired beige/taupe color.

that's a mighty thin skin. Like a big broken egg shell

Town run went OK except for one tragedy: BevMo was out of Shiner Bock, and the gal said they no longer stock it.😳😩 Lord knows I tried to make it worth their while, and shelf space, but I guess it's like shoveling sand against the tide in the face of all the hoppy IPA madness going on. Never liked BevMos prices, anyway.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

No Shiner Bock? Oh the calamity. Time to move to Texas. I'm tired of IPA's myself, and I rarely drink.

Safe camping, and you too Drew.

My 13yo Son had award day at school.
Top typist.
All A's.
1st place in Science
1st place in district Chess.
(these were all "academic" awards, so no awards for his track medals).

17yo daughter graduating this Friday night at 8 pm. Seems like yesterday she was graduating Kindergarten. She'll turn 18 on June 8.

I need to go work on MIL's snapper rider. I guess I have to take the deck back off to get the spindle out. Either straighten it or buy the shaft and cross bar. They don't sell the assembly anymore.

Prayers for our team, our nation, Ukraine, and for Putin to realize his mistake about what he's doing. I can only figure he though he was going to roll over Ukraine in a few days like he did the Crimea a few administrations back.

Drew hopefully it won't keep cracking up above where there is a crack now.

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 4C and it's presently 13.9C, calm and clear. There was 0.5mm in the gauge at 0900.

Looking to hydrate (a lot) prior to heading into town to give a blood sample, then I'll swing by the Chemist to see if they've got a covid booster shot available. I just want to be 'current'; I've already had this year's flu shot.

The BoM predicts the winds to pick up, so the wattle tree clean-up will probably have to wait for a wee bit. It's not like I need to mow the area that the branches are... or anywhere really... as the grass has practically stopped growing until Spring comes around.

Of course, with the very slow grass growth, the agisted horses are eating more round/square bales of hay. The "Mad Agisting Horse Woman" would like to shift paddocks on Sunday arvo, after I get back from Church.

That's about it, take care all.
