Good morning!!!!

cannot get motivated to move. Been moving just plenty for four hours. Food in rv fridge fine, it autoswitches to propane cooling when not plugged in.
which it will be shortly, plus it is full of cold food. Including two containers of ice cream that never got touched.
including some Breyer' strawberry. Tonight that will be my reward for making 20 trips back and forth.

Engineer lives down that way in Delaware and helped me with road choices, which I really appreciate. Next trip down to my friend's, a campground close to his home in Milton, hope to get together.

Ford truck seat in rv is no prize. Even with a back pillow.

maybe Santa will bring me an aftermarket one, like Popgadget just got for his mower.
but I want one with six way back massage, like the upper crust has.
Well I'm the lower crust but I need a back massager...
I used my cruise control as much as possible but of course you can't in heavy traffic or you'll run into
slowing traffic.
I'll look up fancy seats; after the rv put away. Can only procrastinate so much...

gorgeous iris RS. You are going to start giving tours and selling tickets soon.
Kyle, contrats to your daughter, and you.

I never cared for cruise control and rarely use it. Usually forget I have it.
81° and sunny in Nashville. Decided to head home Monday via the KY route to southern OH, and stop by my oldest brother. He’s had it rough with health issues lately.

That is a very reasonable price!!
I have been using Primos game cameras for years, going back to the big D-battery models, but they apparently are out of that market now… I found then easy to use, decent imagery and a good price point.

But they eventually die off and need replacing and I don’t need to be paying triple-digit prices for these things!!!

Mike Morgan just bought some of these for his WV property. I’m going to order 1 to try. I think $120 year for service if prepaid.

When talking to neighbor lady at my lot, I offered to mow to the road instead of along the line as it made unsightly grass along the road. I said I didn’t want to do it without asking first. She said she’d like that, but that’s when I found out she rents from the people in the house past her, so she texted them to ask. I gave her our phone numbers but I haven’t heard back.
Also found out the guys living in old farm house next to the landowner were foster children they raised, and they still live there.

Dennis- Nice looking pictures from your game cam.

RonJH- You brought out some nice eye “catch lighting” and texture.

PopG- That is a comfortable looking seat.

RNG- Reads to be good eats. I have not jerked and smoked a rack of ribs in quite some time.

rswyan- Nice detail on your flower pictures.

Drew- I am happy to read your return home was uneventful. I am usually worthless the day following a long trip.

A cloudy day today, but smoke-free. The morning low was 43ºF and today's high temperature will probably the 63ºF recorded earlier; currently a very pleasant 60ºF. There have been quite a few dark and threatening clouds floating around, but only a couple of light sprinkles so far. I took advantage of today's clear air to mow around the house and using all the gas, doing a fuel run, and returning home and mowing the lower perimeter and walking paths in the lower field. I got close to 3 hours seat time on the rider.

I am hoping to be posting some pictures of House Wren fledglings soon. The truck has been pre-positioned for the past 3 days with the hope that I've planned this fledging out correctly.

.

I’m pleased with it. The little locust tree it’s on is below the power lines. They trimmed the top of the tree under the power lines, and a branch hung in front of the camera for at least a day taking 250 pics, before it fell to the ground. Deer come up and sniff the camera.

I ordered a cell camera for there, will put it up in the notch looking down towards this camera when I mow next time.

Meanwhile dad has been mowing about every day. He mowed over 2 hrs this morning and is out again now according to my camera at the farm.

Want to put camera up in this area, might need to trim some branches.

I am back at home for the weekend (a rare occurrence for me). Someone on the Hwy 404 had a very bad day Wednesday morning at about 3. I guess from the carnage to their car they were really hauling a$$. Hit the barrier between the northbound and southbound lanes and then crossed over to the right shoulder and got another barrier there and that flipped them onto the roof and it slid on the roof back over to the center of the road. There the car sat as I got onto the highway with a cop closing the 4 lanes. The highway was closed from hwy 7 to below the Woodbine/Steels get on ramp.
Hauled 136,000 lbs gross up to North Bay this morning. A little light for me. I am more used to 139,900 lbs. Dropped the train where I unloaded and bobtailed to the house. The next load will be picked up on Monday in North Bay and it goes north to Timmins. After we (2 of us) get done with Timmins, we are going to start the haul up to Detour Lake Gold mine, north east of Cochrane, ON. I think there are 25 miles of single to do there. We tar and chipped the road last year with a double and now we throw a single on top of that and the road will stand up better to the heavy (truck)
traffic. The tar and chip is way cheaper than hot mix and as long as you don't make real sharp 'U' turns on it with your multi axle trailer loaded to the nuts, it will last almost forever.

Junior just told me that the blackflies were brutal yesterday, tomorrow when it is hotter I will mess up the rest of their day (cut the grass). Being it is the weekend the fresh meat (tourists) will be up from the city and the little black boogers will leave me alone.
After supper tonight my game plan is to get baked. The company and the law takes a dim view of me doing it when I have to work the next day, but they can't stop me from doing it at home. I will stop smoking it on Sunday morning and that will leave me good to go on Monday at about noon. It is about a 5 hour drive to Timmins.
It is 3 hours and 55 minutes by car and 224.7 miles, so I gestimate 5 hours will do it with my truck.
See ya all in the morning.

we have lousy cell coverage, and up at the woodlot we don’t even have that…

GM UPDATE:

posts got charred, and put in the ground. Insulators nailed on, wire strung. I only had 3 insulated handles for an entrance, need three more yo make a second. Did not get to run excavator to make watering point, but that is Ok.

Bees can wait until tomorrow, too.

Good afternoon! Today is the hottest day of the year. Partly cloudy and it is 96˚F and still heading up till it reaches the peak at 5pm. 99˚? Heat index is 102˚ with 45% humidity. Time to hydrate and get ready to go for a sauna walk on the shady tree creek trail.

Good (Saturday) morning. Overnight Low of 4.3C and it's presently 15C, fairly clear with gusty wind. There was a brief shower prior to 0900 but nothing significant in the gauge. (Edit: There was 0.5mm)

The 'Mad Agisting Horse Woman' and daughter have loaded up their horses with a couple of other horsy ladies (they're sharing the floats) for a weekend equestrian adventure. It's a long weekend (the King's Birthday).

I'll hopefully get at 'something' this arvo, but the gusting wind is a concern... that 'barber-chaired' wattle tree is still there and I need a calm day to safely handle it.

That's about it, take care all.
