Buppies and Wngsprd willing to bet send couple bears your way.

I'll take them. Don't see too many here in lower mi. Bear was my main quarry when I lived in AK. I'd spend hours just watching them

Anyone use a bug zapper? If so, have you ever seen it kill: 1. Moths, 2. European Hornets? Any recommendations or warnings?

I'm graduating from spraying those hornets to possibly using a zapper. Never have tried one. The hornets are active at night, and I "read on the internet" that powerful bug zappers will do a number on them. The foaming spray just makes European hornets horny and ornery and they've doubled in numbers.

But we don't want to kill moths or other (for us) desirables.

Mrs. con me into putting up bug zapper years back on the deck,it came down almost as quicky put up and given away,moth or 2 burning same time and the odor diffing into the house was nasty.

Sorry but LOL on the European hornets. You know I dealt with them in the Milk House. A entomologist friend just said "professional" when I said how to deal with them. Did the spray and foam treatments to no avail. Called in a pro who dusted them. End of them in a day. I posted pics of their nest...it was very big. Troubling big.
Good luck. I'd recommend a professional.

Fortunately supper had 5 minutes to bake and it was done, and garden green beans were already cooked and warm. As we were eating power came back, so I did corn in microwave.
Last night I picked all the corn that I’m going to pick. It’s getting too old. Got couple dozen in fridge.
Got .02” rain, no storms, no wind. Sun was just out.

Remember friends bug zapper from the 70s. Zap zap zaaaaaaaap. big bugs took awhile to fry.
