Afternoon all!
Nice sunny day here back at home. Trip down was wet but uneventful. Had a good time at the show but I think this is the last time for me after more than 30 years of going.
It's just not the same with everyone seeing the prices online and thinking theirs is worth more too! 17,000 steps to walk the whole show isn't fun anymore either!

Happy birthday and anniversary!

Off to Maine for a few days on the beach Tuesday. Will visit with a few relatives who are in from California for the week.
That's it for now. Time for a nap after being on the road for 7 hours.
Happy 4 year retired @Thomas!
3 for me already!
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

Scag functioning, but not fixed.
Spent more time on Google Youtube than I did on the machine. Found a posting on Lawnmower forum that had just what I needed.
Apparently the Electric Module is toast. A simple bypass and started right up. The bypasses establishes ground to relay, hence it runs. Not a permanent fix as this bypasses safety switches.
New module on order.

happy birthday Paul, too bad you are getting old, like the rest of us ;)

Kilroy, homemade meatballs and red sauce, yum, yum, yum
nice thing about meatballs is you can make them a lot of different ways.
I'm sure Don makes his with jackfruit.
I like to use a little ground lamb in mine.

I bet they would be yummy with some of Popgadget's brisket mixed in.

bright blue sky, sun is out, going to be a very nice day.
As Captain Picard would say
make it so
Still on that diet. Down 28 lbs.

4lbs ground turkey
1/4 cup minced fresh garlic
1/4 cup dehydrated minced onion
1/4 cup dry parsley
2 tsp oregano
20-30 fresh basil leaves, finely chopped.
10-15 sprigs fresh parsley, finely chopped
1tsp sesame oil
Salt/pepper to taste

mix, brown in pan, add to sauce, simmer.

dry ingredients help absorb moisture from meat while browning, aiding in maintaining structure without breadcrumbs.

How many safety switches does it have? Seat? PTO? Clutch? check them all.
Is the solenoid the problem, Sometimes the solenoid is good, and you can jump it, but all the safety checks inline have a fault.
On my husqvarna mower, the failed safety switch is the brake one. It's mounted on the frame in a way where you have to totally dismantal the mower to get it out. I just inserted a wire to bypass it.

And the engineer who designed it will NEVER have to change one…

Good (Monday) morning. Overnight Low of 4.1C and it's presently 18.6C, partly overcast with a breeze coming this arvo. A localised 'micro-burst' of rain yesterday put 3mm into the gauge... the aerodrome got nothing. September was a very dry month for me with only 10.6mm total. Still, I was double what the aerodrome received.

The Bureau of ManyGuesses are predicting a healthy downpour mid-week, though.

Doing a wee bit of dhobi at the moment, plus continuing to 'spruce' the house. Preps for the polling booth (for next week) continue... I've got everything, I just need to 'dig it out' from when it was all used during the last federal election.

That's about it, take care all.

had a good worship this morning. then a good lunch at the usual italian place, 17 of us, so we just sat at 3 tables near each other instead of trying to pull tables together to all sit together. Once you have that many people, you can only talk to the few near you, so might as well just use multiple tables.
Nice day out, but the stink bugs have come out in full force. They kept attacking me sitting on the porch. Another Eagles CD came today, got it on my phone already and ordered another. Using cash back money to treat myself.
back to church for meeting and evening worship.

Got word my grandfathers farm is being sold at auction by the estate of my cousin who owned it. It appraised way higher than I ever imagined, so I won't be buying it. don't know how it appraised for what it did. None of the buildings are usable, it's all overgrown and very steep hillsides.

Good Evening Guys,
David, glad to hear you narrowed the problem down with the mower !

Lou, beautiful shot of the yard, yep everything is still soaking wet !

My ribs went over well at the party, everyone said they enjoyed them !
Looks like some fine weather this coming week, and we are planning on getting a couple more rides in on the pontoon boat ! Im sure the Vermont grass is tall again, since its been over a week and a half since I mowed it last !

BEF, the stink bugs were also out in force in Ct today, so they are covering some serious ground ! ;)

Hope all have a pleasant evening !

I've never been to a Buc-ees.
That is the one place all the tour busses stop at. When we wet on a neighborhood cruise out of Galveston the 4 hour bus trip was sure to stop at a Buc-ees there and back by popular demand.

With the Wonderfull 80% chance of rain Thursday with a cool front (right in the middle of the long anticipated Estate sale) we have declared a holiday to welcome the rain. Our estate Sale will just have to wait another week, rain and cool weather have the right-of-way.
