Scott, this isn't going to make you feel one little bit better but you aren't the only
one with an unhappy head.
Good Morning Guys,
57 to start going to 83 ! :oops:A little stiff in the neck this morning but head does not hurt too badly !

Drew, you have more hair than me ! ;)

Mike, beautiful shot of the pool and fields beyond ! Looks like skinny dipping would not be an issue !:)

Kathleen missed out on boat time on the lake yesterday due to our midday visit to Rutland Regional, so we will definitely be spending some quality time out on the lake this afternoon !

Still have to finish mow the side and back yard. Looks like temps will be dropping by friday, along with some rain forcasted ! I knew summer wouldnt last forever !

So nothing too physical today, other than going to bring garbage to the transfer station !

Hope all have a blessed and Safe day !

Good morning! Low of 35° YES! High around 70°. The forecast is basically the same for the next week. Didn't get any good amount of rain from the last system, only about a tenth of an inch. Some areas got 3"......

Scott, --- ouch. Glad not too much pain this morning.

David, good job on the filter. Hope you get the scag going.

Ken, sorry to hear of the garden tractor battery / problem. Hopefully no damage....

Drew, sorry to hear of the deer damage.

Gosh, miss a day here and it's a lost cause trying to catch up.....

Got hit with some GI issues Sunday and yesterday, so not much progress on the addition. Maybe better progress now that the weather got nicer.

Next portion is the porch rafters / roof. Didn't want to tie into the main roof with the chances of rain (yeah, like that was really going to happen).

Everyone have a great day!

So not sleeping BEF

Drew glad grass mowing went ok

Prayers for all silent or spoken our Country
one of those nights, just kept thinking about all the work that needs done and how to do it. Most are projects that were never finished years ago because of lack of time.
Since I couldn’t sleep I started watching YouTube videos on electrical panel installs. 40 years ago I was working as an EE designing electrical systems for computer rooms. No YouTube then, it was straight to the code books which I got to know very well. Last night I learned there are now panels with plug on neutrals, and breakers that include the neutral terminal (arc faults) so you don’t have to get the breaker with the neutral pigtail.
I’m thinking 60A to the barn is more than I need. Wire is expensive. I mean I’ve ran my few lights in the barn on an extension cord now for almost 20 years.

Wngsprd, gorgeous hike. Are you to Jennings Creek? You are getting close. When you get to the Great valley overlook on the BRP you look down on my little patch of ground. One of the reasons I want a cabin down in that area. So nice, and here I’m playing in the mud.

partially successful morning
got the bidet seat installed but no way I can do the plumbing connection.
down low, in the back, kinda blind, needs a skilled, limber plumber.
now who do I know...

ya know, the more I look at that fitting, I think it just unscrews, maybe no new fittings needed,
and maybe the adapter goes right on.
could be easy peasey like the one in my house. It's made for idiots to install so maybe I'm ok...
in my mental defense I can say I could not see that fitting, only in the picture, very little clearance

took some time to thoroughly disinfect everything before spending time with face in toilet bowl.
amazed the bidet seat fit, just barely in back

then researched removal of existing jacknife sofa to be replaced I hope today with a trifold rv sofa.
looks like just a few screws hold in legs, letting my young helper do that this afternoon.

rewarded with a very large super sweet blackberry

Good Morning Guys,

Drew, totally understand the limber plumber post ! The last time I was under the kitchen sink installing a new fawcet assembly, I said this was it ! We will see what happens the next time ! 😉

This picture can only mean one thing ! Yep, boating season is coming to a close ! How appropriate that it goes into the 80’s today ! 😁

Fall boating is simply awesome on the Chesapeake. You can boat into November.
only downside boating up North, you don't get to do enough of it
unless you have a pilot house, a heater and a lot of desire

who needs antifreeze? just keep going...

time to go straighten up garage. Killing time waiting for the truck

I'm past Jennings...came down I-81 to Buchanan, and then up Rte 43 to park yesterday...was faster than BRP and I needed the extra time...still got home after dark...I'll get back down and look for Great Valley soon.

68°F and 0 rain

Need to spend some time on my untidy, but functional home network

You might agree

All this reporting of closing pools, I should report. Very pleased with the salt water conversion of Sophie’s pool. Not that I’m a big time swimmer, but a quick dip followed by a leisurely soak in the hot tube sure make a nice end to the work day.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

AirBnB ...rental.. or wife and I move in..retire completely once and for all...rent farm out...use Milk House as home base while traveling.

More sucking sounds. Just a little more to do...break time.

Somewhat similar thinking here. We did VRBO vacation rental, but no longer. County keeps changing the rules. Transient tax up to 13%. Shortterm rental redefined as less than 30 days, now, 180 days. Big push for additional licensing which means additional fees. Endgame is to change property tax to deny any homeowner exemptions and new tax category, so we quit shortterm. Still consider the possibility we could lease out main house and use the cottage as a base for travel. Of course this would be after all the furry kids have moved on and a reliable caretaker esconced in the studio to maintain the systems. Tempting, but unlikely to happen.

It took me a moment to realise you were referring multiple skulls/scalps and not the Naval slang word for 'toilet'.

Strangely, it's only the USN that uses the singular 'head'. Everyone else (Naval-wise) uses the plural 'heads'. :)

Good one

hot sweaty successful afternoon.
Well mostly, the adapter that came with bidet was wrong one for toilet, need a reducer, will pick one
up tomorrow.
after much struggling, took apart old couch and went to put new one in.
I could just not pick up my end without hurting myself. Called my brother and he came right over and
it was a struggle but we squeezed it through the 22" wide door.

I need to get some small L brackets to bolt it into floor and that plumbing adapter and job will be done.
got pretty warm out this afternoon
