Other piddling around meant getting later start on the network mess than anticipated but the good news is some success.

Everything still working and able to label the unlabelled.

Some more neating up to do yet. Should get started on the reconfiguration tomorrow

Don and Kyle, you may be getting both of these total solar eclipses? ...Mostly and LS maybe one?

Don't know where you live, two-bit.

I’m probably pretty close to right about where those two bands intersect. Somewhere in that square or very close.

Some of my gold fish in garden pond.

52 outside this AM, heading to upper 70's. 89% humidity. Rain expected tomorrow sometime.

Looks like grass is the order of the day. Managed to get the foam board up yesterday. All nice and sealed, just need to work on the roof metal now where the walkway joins the building. And vinyl....

Time to tend to the critters.

Hope all have a great day, be safe.

good morning all
another foggy morning, high around 80, weather starting to turn and get cooler

Mostly, that's a lot of rain for you, all good. Texas is so big I don't know which areas of our TBN folks overlap but
hope that rain helped Don's gardens.

just taking my time this morning, my to do list not too big. Need to go to Finkles in Lambertville to get that plumbing adapter for
rv bidet seat. Then will stop at apple orchard on way home and stock up.

made another appt to take rv back to H&R radio in Hatboro. The backup camera jiggled loose on the way home from them last time.
So whatever they fixed was not the problem. I have to get this fixed, even if I rip the oem out and put a new one in, but I think it's just a loose connector, since
it only happens when I hit bumps. I suppose that could be internal, but not likely.

intermittents are such fun...

Rip, job security. Going to be beautiful when you are done. Just don't breathe that mouse poop.

52 and fog, going to 78.

Buppies, TBN working okay here now...I've seen it slow a couple of times in last week.

I seemed to have had a personal air show for an hour yesterday. A small crop duster/stunt looking plane used our place to make dives and turns buzzing through our trees. I took lots of video...even though I finally learned how to cast them directly to the TV from the phone via bluetooth, I don't know how to post them here.

I'll post some pix, but the engine sound is what makes it fun

Good Morning
52 with a high of 75 today under mostly clear skies.

Yesterday, trip went well, but traffic was miserable on the drive to and from the airport. I messed up something experimenting with the charge timer, and consequently only got about 1/2 hour of charge in the Prius while I was gone. Did a deep dive in the manuals to figure out where I went wrong. Was pretty obvious when I retraced my steps.

Made some more progress on speakers when I got home, more progress scheduled for today.
Might take a break to go to the ATT store and see about getting an iPhone 15 pro to replace my 12 Max pro. I want something just a little smaller to fit in a pocket. Any experience from you guys with 15 pro? The camera seems to be a significant upgrade from the 12.

There have been some problems with iPhone 15 pro getting hot while charging. There have been 2 updates to IOS 17 to fix this problem. Not sure it is fixed yet. I will be keeping my 14 pro max for awhile. I am still using IOS 16.7 update.

Good morning, woke to thunderstorms, it is still raining lightly, we are up to .85" .
68˚F almost exactly the same weather as Ron this morning. Westerly wind now shifting to a North wind with the high of only 79˚ today it looks like we are getting some relief finally with Fall weather.

I'm interested in upgrading my 12 also, interested to hear experiences of others.

Popgadget, do those speakers have 12 or 15 inch woofers? Look bigger than your normal monitors.

just being lazy this morning. Time to put it in gear

Morning all, 50 going up to 80, foggy, rain later.

Got a few more furring strips up. Spent time on the phone trying to fix health insurance failures again.

Had a turkey parade on my front lawn yesterday afternoon. No pictures, but they have gotten pretty big.

iPhone 15 overheating still an issue, though last OS fix did make a difference. Wonder how they will say when it's fixed?

Be well,

Yes that one has 2 15” drivers, the other 4 holes are for tubular ports. Most of the cabinets that I build are 3 way, this is a more “old school” cabinet for bass guitar. It’s got a load of internal bracing which requires a lot of time and clamps to get assembled. There are no fasteners, it’s all glued together.

Scott(vt) did you keep boat at marina during summer. Glad you get a warm day to finish boat season.
Good Morning Guys,
58 to start going to 80, last hot day in Vermont ! Big changes on the way !

Mostly, we rent a slip at the marina for the summer, boat usually goes in water middle to end of May and we have them pull it sometime in October ! Slip fee I believe is around a $1000 for the season.

Frits, peppers are doing well, we had a few, our basil always seems to grow really well here !

Drew, that couch looks like a wrestle job to get that through that door opening !:)

Thomas, dont be trying to catch up with my mishaps ! Hope leg is feeling better !

Ron, nice gold fish pic !

Ken, we always love the turkeys making their way through the field in the morning !

So I was away from TBN for a few years along the way, just wondering when they got rid the info you used to be able to get on individual members such as property size, hobbies interest etc ??

Hope all have a blessed and safe day !

I was reading an article on Biden approving money to build more walls in Texas.
will remember Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall! all my life.

just depressing it looks like a wall is needed. The situation at the Southern border keeps getting worse.
And what about all those folks/families piling up on the Mexican side?
Must be creating real problems for border Mexican towns and cities.
lines and lines of folks coming North, most it seems men, off to get into the promised land.

wouldn't we do this for our families too?
I think of my grandfather coming over in 1901, seeing the Statue of Liberty.
All he thought about was being a good citizen.
You learned the language, you paid your taxes, you finally got your own home.
Hopefully you sent your kids off to college, where you never went.

in my grandfather's time, flush with money from the sale of A&B Butter in Newark, NJ, to Borden,
he had a new home built in Newark. I've been there.
Then he lost almost all his money in 1929, being a good citizen he invested in the market just like other smart people

this idea of being a good citizen really intrigues me. It was drummed into me by my parents.
Seems to be too much what's in it for me versus what can I bring to the common good.
being a good citizen means you speak the language fluently, you vote, you pay your taxes, you volunteer in your community and you obey the laws.
whether you are single or married, hetero or other, white or any color of the rainbow, believe in Jesus or any other deity you want, or none at all,
you still can be a good citizen.
And should be.

I'm not sure our youth understands this.
anyone who works totally for cash and doesn't file an income tax sure understands it all too well.
The only fair way is for everyone to contribute, do their fair share.
My lunch was never free. My parents worked hard for the 35 cents to buy it at school.

Western Germany had a lot of problems dealing with Eastern Germany when the Wall came down.
The have nots descended on the haves.
Way it has always been.
I'm all up for have nots who are good citizens.
