Got back late yesterday from a 2-day hike on the AT, down close to Buppies and BEF's land. Great weather, but chilly at night. Most of the leaves had fallen, making the trail a bit tricky where they hid rocks. Met one thru-hiker that was southbound...left Maine on August 9. Was in good spirits, but worried about snow in the Smoky Mountains.

45 high in upper 70s

Arm infected on antibiotics skin cancer on face from months ago gone pretty gross quarter inch deep bleed all night. Numbing took eye lid and most of mouth out drooly monster. Pretty sore this morning no bending over for a few days.
