they need to invent some new hyperbole
sure worn out the old stuff

maybe start using baseball analogy
now this storm is a slider past Baltimore...

Drew, how wide is the garage window opening? Will a door fit with the existing header? Any electric wires crossing under it? How high is the header? Is it a side wall? Does bottom of wall sit on slab, or a block wall above the floor? What is the existing siding?
Maybe if things look ok using existing header, and no permits required, we can have a spring TBN door install party. A basic 9 lite prehung door probably $200-300.
They are not hard to install.

Well Evening all;
I'm doing my part to keep the storm down here;
rear chains are on the Branson 8050 and the IH 574,
tomorrow I'll get them on the little Kioti and maybe the NH 8160.
Depending upon which guessers you listen to we are at 1" to 5" or 4" to 10",
then the rest of the long range has showers and snow squalls every couple of days for awhile.

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 14.5C and it's presently 22.8C. High overcast with a gentle breeze.

Yesterday's Doctor's appointment was a quick in'n'out but it resulted in making a further appointment, in Launceston, for a CT scan later this month. Bugger me, that'll cost despite any medicare rebates = money up-front.

Things may or may not get done today however the bin needs to go to the tip very soon.

That's about it, take care all.

Good evening! Low was 18°, hit a high of 48° today, sunny. That's going to change tonight when the snow moves in.... 5-8" predicted throughout tomorrow.

Then more snow Sat, Sun, and Monday. No prediction on amounts for that storm front, but so far the guessers are saying it will be a 'stronger' storm.

Got the edgetamers on the tractor bucket..... I'm anticipating needing to do a lot of plowing.....

Shop motivation is still MIA.... but, that may be a good thing. Emotional support for the MIL and wifey has been in the forefront... especially today. They are both really upset after seeing my BIL in person. I think he is trying to 'soften' his condition by not telling the full report to his mom and sisters.

Mostly, yes, he finally made it home around 19:00 last night. The 2.5 hour flight turned into 12 hours. He said the delays were ok, just sat and watched the world go by....
He got another chemo treatment today, PET scan in 2 weeks.

Sure makes one have some deep thinking.......

Kilroy, the wifey has pans and a few utensils from her Babcia, I have a few tools from my Dziadek, including 2 very old hand planes. All on display at this time, not in use.

Buppies, extra prayers for you and the Mrs. Take care.

Fritz, hope your wife can get some relief. My wifey does a cocktail of 500 mg Tylenol and 600 mg Ibuprofen. Seems to work better for her than just one or the other. Surprisingly, methotrexate upsets her GI tract a lot more than the other. She only takes it when "really bad"......

Everyone take care, have a great night!
I am currently putting the arm on one cioci (92) to “nobody else would want it and I can use it and you never will use it so send is to me” the old cow horn she used to stuff kielbasi. Not holding my breath - she is quite stubborn…

Nice chairs Helogabals. Ka-ching for Wegners.

I'd like a big stack of McIntosh MC2500 amplifiers...

Here's one to see if your speakers can handle Neil Pert's drumming. This is one of the songs that I use to judge sound systems. JBL L300's do it justice.

So much to comment on....so little time. I'm on my daughter's laptop. I hate laptops, even though this is a nice one. I have to borrow it for a class next week. Had to load Fusion 360 on it. Gonna get it forced down my throat. I'm a Mastercam guy.
