Coffee is brewing. 50° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 74° with plenty of sun. .98" of rain yesterday. Most it in a storm in the evening. Eye exam went well. No dilation required. New safety glasses on order. Got tractor out and leveled area that I ran disk over last week. Following Dr's instructions foot is getting better.

Glad foot is better, and eye exam went well. Ducks will crap water up real fast.

Managed to cut some grass yesterday, ran out of gas. Wife is with parents so I am house bound, no vehicle to go anywhere. Did manage to cut the backyard around the houses and that was it.

I would call the wifey and ask her where she hid the keys to her tractor, "Honey, I need to uhhum mow some this afternoon." Then drive the tractor to town....

Good observation. I have tweaked the layout some, removing the loop from the long hallway/laundry room and using the feeds to all the other loops to heat that area. It will actually have a higher density of tubing than the areas with loops.

That will leave a “cool area” for Zoe to sleep on as well.

Trying to remember....do you have a geothermal system?

This is one of our buildings at work. I thought the colors of the blooms looked nice. It might be difficult to scale the awning in the background. It is huge, maybe 6 or 7 stories up in the air, 120+ feet or more wide. Biggest awning I've ever seen. Hate to be around if a tornado hits it.

Poured first cup of coffee. 49° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 58° with some rain in afternoon. Got garden pond waterfalls working yesterday. Also cleaned filters. Will get them installed today after grocery shopping.

Kyle, Ducks do not spend much time in pond. They spend more time at feeders cleaning up and sleeping on rocks around pond. There have been 2 Drakes fighting over the 1 female duck for lots of action photos. None have come out good enough for posting.

Good morning, the low is 42 and going to a high of 59°F. Wind N 7 mph. Cloudy.

Today is a dump/town run, get some 10w30 oil and change oil and filter on the z-turn.

Tomorrow is going to be 5 degrees warmer and sunny, so the compost pile will wait until then. I only turn it twice a year, spring and fall. This compost is only used for top dressing the lawn. There is a bit of everything in it including kittie presents.

Not much accomplished yesterday. Day job sort of ruled the time. Wife got back home, so today I get to run my errands for gas, beer and food. Did not even manage to look at any project yesterday. Sigh.

Had Podiatrist appointment yesterday and had second shot of Shingles vaccination. Wife had the respiratory vaccination.

Mowed the grass with some clumping because it was too long

D had MRI for the knee and it is showing a tear in the meniscus

GS, such a fortunate occasion that that fella stopped by to share the history of your place. I love those old Rumelys.

Got a lot of yard work done yesterday...pole saw work and then grappling the branches to the brush pile.

While I was out with the tractor, moved a big flat rock slab I had dug up a year ago to a place my wife wanted to use it as a landing at the bottom of the porch steps. It is about 3 feet wide by 18 inches, and 6 inches high...I might try to figure a way to estimate its weight. Used a tamper bar to lever it up and slip towing straps under it, which I hooked to the grapple. Drove slowly to keep it from rocking. The huge ant colony underneath it was angry...I got two nasty bites just above my gloves.

Mowed the frisbee field with the zero...it had gotten out of hand from the big rain several days ago. Then ended the day watching two black snakes mate, up next to our house. My wife watched for a time and took many pix. I never knew she was into snake ****.
