Well if I type fast it still may be morning when I post this ;
So morning all,

Nice mid morning distraction today from the numerous deer on the lawn, had several turkey poults show up.
Didn't get a real good picture using my phone but here goes;

laying down they blend in real well,

some standing up and starting to move around

heading back into the woods

Just happened to catch these while standing at the kitchen window, earlier in the morning had a flock of a dozen adults wondering around up around the deck.

86F and partly cloudy @ 11:30, calling for a high of 87F for the day. DP 68F, HU 56%, "feels like" temp is 94F.

42% chance of precip this afternoon.

Got meds doled out first thing yesterday.

Then headed outside and refilled the hopper feeder.

Then realized that the front lawn needed cut again so I spent the late afternoon in the heat doing that. Wasn't too terribly bad other than at the beginning when there was more sun than clouds. Once it clouded up it was tolerable.

Weather guessers were saying 70% of thunderstorms ... nothing really materialized around here, other than a few drops on the windshield as we were headed over to the relatives.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable time over there, sitting in the evening shade on their front porch which is on the east side of their house conversing with the fan blowing while enjoying an adult beverage.

Big spread, grilled burgers and the rest of the food was very good.

Everyone else played corn hole for a while ... I was content to just sit on the porch, listen to all the birds chirping and watch them having a good time.

Have not seen anymore groundhogs down here around the house since that last encounter. Hopefully the remaining one has moved on but somehow I doubt it.

Will probably head out here in a bit and and do some watering in the garden and see how that goes.

If there is cloud cover or I can find some shade may try and get a few other things done but we'll see how it goes ...

Hope everyone is having a decent Sunday ... (y)

70°F and .19 inches rain.

Held out until afternoon and able to mow a couple hours. Maybe today will be better. Have about half of my main, interior section left.

Still mind boggled over yesterday. We need a new direction.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Grass is not getting cut today, nor is the wood getting turned. Temperature is in the 80s outside and 75 in here. I have the fans on in both the kitchen and my man cave. The kitchen one sucks up from the basement and the one in the man cave sucks the cooler air from the kitchen into the cave. When it gets really hot (90s) then I will turn on the one in the front room on suck. IF it gets to 100s (which it does occasionally) then the furnace fan goes on and blows colder air from the basement upstairs.
I don't need a hydro sucking A/C in the house.

Thank you Scott, we hope for the best

D came back for one day and flew out this morning to San Diego. Checking weather in San Diego for the week it is 60's at night and 70's during day. Hope she can find time during the week to enjoy that. I used to fly into San Diego a lot when I had a project south of the border. Always wanted to spend more time there
Prayers for your daughter Frits.

Another good worship this morning. Good lunch, got the 2 large slice pizza special with a salad, brought one slice home. Big slices of pizza.
clipped up a tomato in garden that wife wanted tied up, and threw out the rest of last years potatoes that were getting very soft in the bottom of a bucket.

Frits, all of us send prayers for your daughter and recovering health
use the old "twenty good looking guys want you to feel better" line,
always seems to work. ;)
Thank you for the prayers Drew,
She was addicted as a new born from her birth mother and this has been a life long struggle for her. One leg was amputated a couple of years ago and the other is now at risk. She got a stent but needs a valve replaced in the heart.

Got soaker hose on the indeterminate tomatoes hooked up and set the timer for 15 minutes.

Shortly after that it clouded up as I started weeding the hosta ring around the oak tree.

Surprisingly the temps seemed pretty pleasant.

Probably 15 minutes later I noticed the wind coming and some raindrops starting to fall.

Within a couple of minutes that turned into a downpour so I came on in.

Probably won’t last very long.

Woman over at relatives picking up leftovers from yesterday.

Squeak taking advantage and getting some lap time.

electrical malfunction in rv
every time I plugged it into garage outlet popped gfci in garage.
unplugged from rv, fine all the way to end of cord, lights on, surge protector has three
green lights. But when I put power on connected to rv, breaker pops immediately.
I have only one gfci in rv. I set it and unset it and same breaker trip no matter what position of gfci.

my concern is the converter, what changes AC to DC. Will take another look at that later, checked to make sure all
circuit breakers were fine, and they were, and no strange smells.
I washed the far side of rv this morning, hmmmm, maybe I should go blow air in the outside 110v receptacle.
there should be very little load on start up, only the rv battery charger. So sounds like a short?

some gfci's go bad. Do you know how many amps the rv is supposed to be pulling?

If your circuit can handle 20 amps, I've put these in a situation that kept popping a regular gfci.

Drip irrigation about halfway through.....
Was sitting on the front porch when, all of a sudden, birds were flying every which way, scrambling for cover.....

An hour and a half later, I went to the backyard to start drip there.... this is what I saw:

IMG_1390.jpeg
The remnants of a ring necked dove.....
Wifey saw a hawk earlier sitting up high in a tree. I guess they have chicks to feed too! Only remnant besides the feathers was one foot.....

I'm still feeling good, actually hungry now. Going to make eggs, bacon, and hash browns for an early "Linner"... too late for "brunch".

98° out already, 3 degrees above forecast. Can definitely feel the strength of the sun at this elevation. At least we don't have too much humidity at 20% today. A few storms building in the distance. Maybe we can get one....

thanks
I'm going to swap it out tomorrow but not sure that is it.
hooked up my 110V Makita air compressor and it ran off that garage outlet fine.
I think something in rv is tripping garage breaker.
when I put on generator all the ac came on in rv; this seems to be an issue with shore power.
more experimenting needed but happy to swap out gfci

2 GFI’s in series usually does not work.
Should say that a little different.
1 GFI feeding another GFI does not always work.
