Good morning!!!!

Good morning! Low of only 67°, which left the house fairly warm overnight. A/C got turned on a bit earlier at 09:00. High is supposed to be 93° with a 60% chance of t-storms. The guessers keep moving the lower temps back a day ....

BIL is enjoying the peace and tranquillity here. No family drama too! The instigators won't call here....no tolerance will be granted. It's been tough on the wifey seeing how far downhill he has gone. She is definitely enjoying spending time together.

Dennins, glad they fixed the tire. Definitely within the tread area, should be good to go!

Drew, taking the portable filter is a good idea.....same as the charcoal filters for the A/C.

Energy conservation is in order for today.

Everyone have a great day!

Anything that creates heat should be put on the floor. Car/motor home seats can and do catch fire easily.
thanks, this is air only
I have two small UL approved electric heaters that either go on the kitchen countertop or the floor.
this is to clean the air coming through truck air/a/c vents as I drive down the road out West, and certainly when I stop.

just finished cleaning the house though always stuff to dust.
aren't you supposed to have a little dust for that "lived in" look?...

Good Afternoon,
Puttering in the wood shop , and realizing that I hadn’t put the half inch dowel holes in the front legs yet, I set it up on the drill press since the lathe is in Ct ! Not ideal but it worked Ok !

Bill good numbers on your BP !

Dennis, good deal on the tire plug ! Every once in awhile you get lucky !

Ted, good that you can spend some time with the BIL ! I’m sure your wife is enjoying it ! 🙏

Have a good afternoon! 🙏

Drew, nope, that is a new spigot, but that 3 inch pipe is a gutter catchment 1st flush that trickles water. I think real culprit is electrician found a cheap piece of plywood, likely just interior grade. New piece will be exterior and well painted before installation.

92 and humid with no rain in the forecast

Watered the flowers and mowed a section of the bigger field

The mower started to make noise from the deck and I was thinking it may be a spindle bearing but no such luck. It turned out to be the gearbox that had leaked out the oil and was burning hot to the point it melted the dip stick. Picking a new one tomorrow from Messicks saving several hundred dollars compared to buying it from local dealer.

Glad I chose to conserve energy today.... outside temp up to 98°. Fortunately, clouds are starting to form, so maybe a storm will cool us down.

Did some paperwork that I've been procrastinating doing. Still need to make some calls. Haven't heard back from PT to schedule the "nerve treatment".

Got 3 back to back spam calls. Third one just kept talking over me.... I lost it. Yelled at her to "shut the $@#^ up!" .... that stopped her for a couple of seconds for me to tell her to "take me off your list" and hang up.
Funny thing was that the BIL then got 2 spam calls about 30 minutes later.....
I told him that I gave them his number... didn't want him to feel left out.....

I have been inundated with scam calls all week. From the Department of Service Canada suspending my social insurance number. The last call I came unglued on him and maybe now they will leave me alone for a bit.
Service Canada doesn't make phone calls, they write letters [gotta keep the post office in business].
Other calls were from Amazon about fictitious charges charged against my account. They just get hung up on AND their number blocked.

mighty hot out
I watered everything
what shall be shall be

finished cleaning inside of house. Saves me 90 bucks.
Figured pocketing that this year bi weekly will save up to a nice chunk of change paying for my trip.
actually pays for about 2/3 of my gasoline bill. 8200 miles at 10mpg is easy math
all that gas weighs 5,740 pounds. Let's see, I could pull a fuel trailer behind me and never have to stop...

something tells me hauling 800 gallons of gasoline is a no no
sure wouldn't be going through any tunnels
I'd have to bring Bill along and we can discuss flammable liquids placarding

one thing to carry extra diesel.
carrying extra gasoline is seriously risky.
I'm sure I'd have no problems driving through the burning countryside of California
all loaded up with high test.
cinder, cinder which cinder is for me?

Heading up to Abbottsville PA in the morning at Messicks to pick up the Kubota mower deck gearbox. 1685 dollars plus a replacement set of blades. Will look at the old one later to see if it is worth rebuilding and keeping as a spare. Likely all internals to the case will need replacement.
The shaft seals don't last forever I guess is the message and those boxes don't hold much oil. I had changed the oil not long ago and the oil level then was not low.
But 1500 hours and more than 15 years I can not complain

D was nominated for another award and it comes with substantial dollar amount
