Drinking first cup of coffee. 60° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 69° with overcast skies. .26" of rain yesterday afternoon. Spent the day enjoying sons visit. Did visit with neighbors. Not much planned other than some shopping today.

I had to look at that picture three or four times to convince myself that wasn't a Seal looking in from the top right. I'm serious.
75*F here with heat index at 82 (6:17am). High going to 97, sunny and hot. Same as it's been, same as it will be until mid-October. Should be in the mid-eighties by my birthday on this day next month. It's been too hot and humid for me to work outside lately. A lot of Dove hunters nearby the last few days. That has scared the birds away from my feeders so not much to look at lately.

Leaving later today for Vermont, hoping to get out on the boat a few more times !
Also hoping for a little shop time over the next few days. The last 3 days were very busy with a 3 and 4 yo running around ! Need a breather !

Which robot are you getting Don?

We have had Solar Breeze over the years. To my thinking the original performed the best, really liked it. Our latest, not near as good and probably won’t replace with another when it dies.

Good morning! A warm 77˚F but with a cold front pushing in this afternoon the high will only be in the upper 80s. Winds will change from S to N.

Did not find a painting at the art exhibit, they sure were proud of their art with most paintings in the $250-$550 range. There is always the twice a year huge neighborhood Garage sale which is in October.

Looking forward to a good PT week and cooler temps.

58° and cloudy.
Yesterday was a nice slow day. I boxed in the ductwork for the vent inside the cabinet with some Baltic birch, but that was about the only thing I did in the old folks home.

Daughter brought a new boyfriend by to meet the family, had a nice dinner at oldest sons, he cooked out on the grill, we sat around the fire pit.

This morning I’m off to pick up a plane from the service center in Newburgh, NY, should be back in time for the countertop installation.

52 in Greenbrae CA headed up to high 70's vs warmer down in Orcutt where I'm headed today. One software says three hours, another says four, I trust the four.
it's all on route 101 and I'll just be occupying the right lane as usual.
The worse the traffic, the slower I go, the easier it gets. Lot of folks veering from lane to lane here, trying to "get ahead". Most of which is wasted motion as you see the folks down the road. They seem to get annoyed when they fly past me, and then I meet up with them on next slowdown...

coffee is finally ready.

Bill, no broom handles here, no brooms...but definitely need something longer than what I have and it has to be sturdy; that bed frame falling on one's head is to be avoided. I will hold the bed up, RNG will measure what we need and I'm sure we can jury rig something.

Good morning! My rooster has been consistently sounding off t 6:20am. Wife said he may be dinner soon.

Starting the day off with 2 blueberry pancakes with raspberry and fresh honey, lemon yogurt, strawberry coconut milk, and coffee.

Have to go to the steel shop for rebar this morning, I need to put up a fence before I can plant the arbor vitae so the deer don't eat them.

Morning all, 58 going to 69 and partly cloudy, no rain....
Getting very dusty here. Need to water all the time. Keep looking at the calendar and seeing September, usually a rainy month.

Went to the local art show, that took all of thirty minutes. Spoke to some nice people.

Then went to Solebury orchards, Drews favorite place and passed by his house, looks ok from the road. Then back home to put out some Halloween decorations. Did not sleep well last night.

Ron - glad you had a good visit with the son. Always great to see your pictures in the morning.

Even with watering , ground cover looks sad.

Well, back to work.

David, the venting of the matching service is very important. In this case the ranch hand who orchestrated the failed kidnapping, which lead to the doctors death, would have passed the venting but the illegal alien brother who had felony warrants was not on the radar.

Would the matching service be liable for any elder abuse or worse? I hope the matching service would have a good liability insurance policy.

63deg and overcast, calling for rain.

Just renewed registration on 3 vehicles, one I only did for 1 yr instead of 2, that kept the cost under $1K. Wow, didn't know MD had raised registration fees that high.

Need to make a decision about VA land. At this point I'm favoring just selling it. Maybe I'll wait till spring.
