good morning, 38 going to 58 mostly cloudy conditions

Doing my strength training exercises today and will do some extra sit ups and back excercises

The two day boat trip on Halong bay was cancelled in the last minute after long bus ride from Hanoi due a storm coming in. She said this will be the starting point for the next trip. Halong bay, a world heritage site is just out of this world beautiful

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Youth deer hunting weekend saw several slow drive by's checking out our fields.
Boo tire swing missing and game cam pointed towards ground I'll rehang better much tighter knots.
Plans for today...clean two long ditches full of leaves this morning,afternoon going to putter NY Giants for win.

Good morning TBN.
52 this morning going only to 60 if we are lucky. A sprinkle of rain and now it's gone.
Worked on trails again a little bit. Got the TC down all trails except 2. Those have an abundance of labor to clear. It's kinda weird that both are at the turns to enter and have a bunch of very large trees, including oak. I will wait until I can get some younger help to pitch in.
Got my paper burning in during the "sprinkle". Hadn't done it since Helene because ironically it's been too dry.
Thinking about putting my little Chinese buggy in the garage to see if I can tackle a rewire. Fun little buggy that screams when all is good. It is powered by a moped motor and needs total rewire. Worst I can do is make it a winter project.
Coffee is done and the dog is whining for his breakfast and walk. I cleared 10k steps again yesterday I guess it' healthy for me.

Frosty and clear. Down to 28F and expecting 50+F later.
Leaves have been falling slowly but should get dramatic after this frost.
Windmills worked hard overnight trying to keep frost off the vineyards that haven't been harvested yet.
No real plans for today.
Some laundry, house cleaning, cooking something. Haven't decided what yet.

43.7 this morning high in low 50s today back in 80s by Wednesday still no rain. Grass by road needs mowed nothing else.

Another day chasing wife up and down the road did have good shrimp last night for dinner.

Last night our neighbors across the street invited us over for an early Halloween party ! Nice time and some tasty treats !

We were afraid with the high winds yesterday we would not have fire or the screens. But wind died down to very calm by 7pm

Neighbors came by (the kids) to give us some decorations for the front of the house. We gave them some candy and halloween toys.

69°F and 2.89 inch’s rain.

Been a wet one, started before I even finished coffee yesterday, but teasingly light. By late morning I’d talk myself into weathering it. Got a bit over 21/2 hours on my LS with the 6ft rotary

Tall, thick and wet. Definitely stressful work. Not ready to declared tractor fixed, but sure was encouraging. Next test I’d like to make 4 hours.

I was cold and wet, but happy. 5 minutes after tractor was back in shed the skies opened up. Boy was I glad to be inside.

This morning at about 9 it was trying to rain/snow. I did see some very small flakes coming down. The cat went out about 9:05 and at 9:06 he was back inside. He does NOT like rain. There is a shelf outside the kitchen window and that is one of the ways they go out and come back in. I am going to try and plexiglass part of it off, so they can at least have a spot to rest out of the rain/snow and wind.

Good afternoon GM'ers !

Currently a cool 53F and sunny here. Only calling for a high of 56F today. LWS reports that the low temp this morning hit 32F ... that's the coldest it's been so far this fall.

WU is calling for it to get that low again tonight ... but it's supposed to get back up to the upper 70's on Tue/Wed ...

Back to more seasonal temps after that.

Going to head out here in a little bit and finish harvesting all the remaining peppers, see if there's any tomatoes left.

Probably grab a few of the largest heads of cabbage so we can get started on making sauerkraut.

Back home. Got camper put away.
Shower felt good. Came home a better route. I went up a longer way. We camped just 6 miles north of this state park, where we also like to camp. Just hard to get full hookups there.
Was a nice trip.
We realized last night we were only half hour from one of wife’s cousin. Pretty area up there.
