Good Evening Dennis,
Since I have the opportunity, might do 12” oc joists on lower deck.
Dennis, do you think that there will be much difference between 12” oc compared to 16”oc ? But i guess when you get to that point , that’s the time to do it. 😉

Don, my 42 Farmall A was FAA 83006, my 49 Super A FAA 275300
Tractordata is a great resource 😉

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 13.3C and it's presently 20.1C, partly sunny with a gentle breeze.

A good, modest, grocery trip yesterday... sometimes the 'cycle' of things in the pantry/fridge can be shifted to next week. I was able to get over to the Church and handle the limbing job with my Makita pole saw [with extension]. (y)

Of course, once I returned home, that put me in a 'what needs to be limbed around here' mood. It's a never-ending task when you have trees, eh?

So, that's what I'll 'get up to' today.

That's about it, take care all.

Good evening all. 73ºF for the start, overcast, very windy. Wind slowed down a lot during morning, brief heavy rain, cold front came though, temp dropped to 62ºF. Sky partially cleared, and high temp was 81ºF. Rain next 4 days, high temps below 60ºF, temp profile very flat. Made coffee to start day, Men's Meeting, trip to bike shop, I was able to update map while driving, lunch at Panera's, nap when I got home, bike ride, then out to dinner.
Buppies glad good visit with Holly. Hope you get you got sleep hours adjusted. prayers sent
Bill the worst part was the rear wheel getting jammed, and then it decided to pass the front tire :( Glad not you getting ticket. Hope can make the pump capable of pumping big tank lower.
Ron sorry suction pump didn't make on shopping list, would have saved you some searching. More deer need to be that careful crossing road :) nice pic.
Drew sorry about the upcoming freeze. I have next 4 days below 60ºF and rain, fresh load of wood on porch. Hope car gets fixed soon. Hope RV washing went well and rest of roses show up. Drew of Rose Cottage?
Billy glad you are making progress on arbor and you are able to harvest local cedar to provide the materials for repair. Hope change over to brush hog went smoothly.
Thomas hope you got some puttering done and were able to restart yard cleanup.
Scott(vt) hope you didn't have to wait too long for temps to get warm enough to work. Hope you can get some tape and start putting down the new Trex. Bike is at shop, rear wheel needs close inspection and a new derailleur hanger. Will likely be next week before I get it back.
NHBX glad you were able to get groceries and start the spring clean up.
Bill sounds like a good day to stay inside.
Drew glad taxes done. Hope you got another coat of oil on the teak.
Ken had laugh at Senior assassin, hope your son makes through the game. The pic I posted shows derailleur upside down, rotated 180º.At least one broken spoke, rest will need inspection. No obvious damage to derailleur won't for sure until they get new hanger and check shifting.
Happy(NC) hope weather doesn't slow you down on bridge repair. Hope the engines are hanging in there for you.
Lou hope you get the tires/rims sold. Growing up rubber tires got mounted on a rim and the area where the rubber sealed on the rim was also called a rim. Clear as mud?
Frits hope you can get shelters picked up soon. Enjoy the trip with your wife and find somewhere to eat. Hope the Polaris works out for neighbor.
Don is the Farmall aa Farm tractor?
RNG thanks for the derailleur story. Good to hear more showings on tap. Hope paperwork and grass cutting went well.
David glad mowing under control. When will you know if update fixed auto start problem. Hope items were at PO.
Lou great to hear you are home and got full asking price + $50 delivery fee.
Drew hope RV sells soon without a lot of tire kickers. Glad roses arrived, hope planting goes smoothly without new aches and pains.
Two_bit Sorry so war down there so soon. I am going to have 4 days with highs below 60ºF. Good to hear the appraisal protests went so well. I was on gravel road so minimized damage to wheel and derailleur. Bike did not go down, so no injury :)
Drew glad you should get car back tomorrow. Good to hear roses in good shape.
Dennis glad good progress on deck. Thanks for progress pic.

Day got off to an unexpected great start. After a delicious homemade breakfast courtesy of my lovely wife, decided to take a quick look at local credit union account. I actually keep tabs on all the online accounts regularly. Surprise, surprise, our IRS refund was posted. Don’t believe I have ever gotten a refund in just a week.

Coffee is brewing. 58° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 63° with gusty winds and chance of rain. Went to bed with .61" of rain having fallen on gauge. Woke with 1.47". Both Sassy and I slept threw it. I did get laundry and other household chores done yesterday. Grocery shopping this morning. Then will see what else there is to do.
Only one Sandhill Crane coming to cleanup lately.

Good morning, the low is 34 and going to a high of 52°F. Wind E 11 mph. Showers.

The snow we got yesterday is starting to melt.

Maybe if the rain isn't too heavy I might work on the right rear tire chain that seems to want to take off. May also check on hydraulic system problem I've been having all winter.

For right now, I think I will go back to bed for a power nap.

Have a safe day all

Good morning,
35° and raining until noon, we only had about 3/4” of snow/sleet last night, all gone now. Highs today in the upper 50’s, winds SSW 10-20 mph.

Yesterday was somewhat productive, played pickup sticks for an hour or so, then started cleaning up the mess from doing taxes. Mrs made a pork sirloin roast with taters and a salad then just chilled the rest of the evening.

Not sure about today, most likely just putter around.

Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning TBN!!
65 this morning. Warmer then all of yesterday. Should be in the 80s with sun breaking out for a little bit.
Another day in the tank. Pressure washed for a while until I started having too many problems. Had a cheap hose hooked to extend another 25 ft that blew at the nozzel. Got that hose out and hooked it up to old reliable rubber hoses. Washed for a bit until I ran out of gas. Filled it and fired it back up and blew a hole in the PW. That was enough for me for the day. I think I have another in the shed so that is on todays agenda. Ready to have this project done!!

And now it's time for a second cup.
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

Morning all!
Currently 33 with drizzle falling. Supposed to go to lower 60's with rain off and on all day.

Up early this morning with arthritis killing my fingers and toes. Combination of the weather and the construction projects I guess.

Think today will be mostly a putter kind of thing!

Later tonight we go to the great nephew's last concert in high school. He should be graduating in June.
That's all I can think of for now.
Two projects from the shop.
A box project made of zebra wood.(smells like a septic system when you work on it!)
Also a canary wood and maple spinning project.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

55 going to 81...cloudy and windy.

Had a scare this morning...the coffee grinder didn't work. I took it apart and cleaned it. Worked great...12 years old so I was afraid the motor was burned out. I guess it has been a while since I gave it a good cleaning. Coffee tastes extra good after the scare. I guess I'll get a small manual grinder as a back up. Don, do you still use that nice hand grinder?

Bush hogged for 3.5 hours yesterday and made a good start. The field was not as thick as usual due to last year's drought.

Back to grape arbor and other chores today due to forecasted 25 mph winds.

Found another item that I have missing for a few days. A hose for pond vacuum. All the cleaning in back barn is catching up with me. Items put away in best place are hiding from me. This morning I went out with a flashlight to look for hose. Instead of turning barn lights on. I used flashlight. First cabinet I opened shined light on all 4 shelves. There was the hose on bottom shelf. I am sure I looked in that cabinet before. A new hose has already been shipped. Is there a course available for seniors on how properly find things? 👀🤠

Just after 7Am Thursday.
Yesterday we started aboot 34F and by 10ish we were getting snow pellets.
Freezing rain warning in the afternoon and slick roads.
Heavy rain most of the afternoon.
Went into the evening coldish.
We had passing fronts overnight that were signalled by lightening and thunder and followed by more rain.
It warmed up to almost 60F by this morn.
No more rain today but strong winds predicted.
Rest of the week and weekend warm but falling a little everyday.
By Tuesday and Wednesday we will just be clearing freezing.
Goofy wet spring.
The sump pump is running every 5-10 minutes and I have a large pit.
After a night of rain the off shore workers across the road are stuck up to the axle of their vehicle.
They've been pushing and pulling for the past 45 minutes. This morning was not the time to drive out to the orchard.
Good day to lose your boots just walking.
