Weather man has been right on the money up here. I use mostly weather.gc.ca
It pissed down rain all day. Finally slowed down just after supper. So nothing got done today. Tomorrow is another day. I'm retired now, so I will do it when I get around tuit.

Morning all
39 and raining. Going to 50's.
Up since 1 am with hands and feet causing trouble!
Didn't get any lawn work done before the rains came but the wife and I did get our walk in.
Got some nice shop time in. Finished one project and started on another.
2nd one might have to wait a bit as hand sanding and filing needs to be done.
Sister visits today so don't plan on getting much done. With the lack of sleep it will be a nice putter day. I know plenty of you are in worse shape so will try not to complain so much!

Drinking first cup of warm coffee. 36° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 46° with continuing heavy clouds. .15" of rain yesterday morning. Oil oil changed in mower gearboxes. Today I will work on doing a beginning of season lube of all grease fittings on both mowers. Then some NASCAR on TV in late afternoon.

Good morning, the low is 30 and going up to 37°F. Wind NW 5 mph. 40% chance of flurries.

I'm in the process of doing a search for a newer, longer suction pipe for my Fill Rite FR700V fuel pump. Fill Rite doesn't stock the pipe anymore, so I need to dig one up locally. The one I have only stretches to 35". I need one that stretches to 48". I guess if I can't find one I will have to use a coupler and go with a nipple.

That is part of todays job, if I find my 'get up and go'.

47 going up to 54 today in light rain and clouds.
rain last night less than expected, slept right through it.

today's plan is to work on my lawn mower, grease it, maybe sharpen the blades.
going to need to mow soon, some spots already six inches tall, other spots bare and awful looking.
my lawn is bad news, so much grub damage, hopefully the recent grubex will help.

sent thankfully small checks off to IRS and PA, please use my money wisely.

got a call last night from someone hawking Facebook Marketplace ads for my rv; I told them no thank you, I'm not
on any social media other than here anyway.

Ted, we all hope Dona has good days ahead. Stay strong. Hard to believe all that snow, hope it didn't bust up your
nice landscaping.

69.4 outside had to cut on A/C yesterday afternoon house got to 78 pollen everywhere grass mowed where I could yard by road still a mess VDOT tore up yard by road will have to reseed and add dirt.

VDOT tore up yard by road will have to reseed and add dirt.

Sounds like we have the same mess,that last section I level with bucket than rake just in case old man winter pays surprise visit.

Ct, 40 to start going to 52 with on and off rain. Looks kind of foggy on top of that.

Off to church shortly and then mandatory FD training after church. Then packing up and heading to Vermont. I really think I need an energy conservation day

Also using sickle cutter to cut and raking hay.

Thomas, yes I have one of those, Model 16A. Haven’t used it in years. When I first bought the house and property in Vermont I did mow the field a couple times with that but if you didn’t pick up the cuttings it would jam the bar up with subsequent cuttings. So then I bought the Massey Ferguson and a Bush Hog.

Drew, the Ct lawn has grubs and moles in one part, looks like heck, need to do something about that soon.

good morning, 58, low was 46 and rain to start in the next hour or so

Finished the tree shelter work yesterday minimizing the risk of hitting tree shelters hiding in the grass with the mower later on. When weather permits, pick up sticks and branches. Wish I could mount a rake on the minix. The 3 point rake and tractor is too big for access in most places.

65 this morning and already a rainfall even though they keep saying 4 or 5 this afternoon.
Already on my second cup. Went and set up the Keurig for my first cup. Went to the bathroom and came back to coffee all over the counter. Forgot the cup that is usually there. Hate when that happens!
I di almost nothing yesterday. I did go to TSC to get a PW hose. They had the best options at the best prices. Took the wife for a biscuit and a little more running around. Home and couldn't muster up the energy to work on the tank. Turning in to a job as opposed to a project. Jobs suck the energy out of me. Projects have a certain amount of appeal until they become jobs.
Not too sure what todays agenda will be unless the rain holds off and I decide to get back in the tank!

Time for a 3rd cup

in this mess.
That push trimmer was very powerful, far beyond hand held and easier for me to use on long fence lines.
much quieter than typical gas weedeater too and four stroke.

They are offering 12 months of free identity protection via IDX.
Also recommend placing a freeze on the credit reports
Any recommendations for other steps to take

Good morning,
37° now and steady rain until noon, between yesterday and today so far around 0.5”. Highs in the low 50’s and cloudy, winds WNW 5-10 mph.

Yesterday’s putter around day turned into running errands with the Mrs. Picked up some fish for supper and along with fries and a salad, fell asleep fat, dumb and happy in my chair for a few hours.

No plans for outside today, maybe putter around a bit?

Good part of last week leading into the weekend had heavy flooding rains predicted.
Ended up with a few sprinkles and a couple hours of light mist.
It's better that way but with all that equipment and expert people, Grandma Moses sore bones are still more accurate?
Today starting mid30s F and going to barely break 40F.
Cloudy with some sunny breaks.
Getting colder next couple days.
So far it hasn't been a welcoming Spring.
Enjoy each other, it won't last forever.

Nice machine. I've thought of getting one for a while.
Did something similar with an 8' Bushhog.
Mowing a field for a friend picked up some old fencing that got wound up in the blades.
Took most of a day getting it out.
Anybody in the vicinity received a free linguistic lesson in 2 languages of swearing.

Good Morning
45° and foggy this morning. Rain likely and won’t see 50°.
Thunderstorm around midnight brought about 3/4” of rain last night.

Yesterday was not terribly eventful, made a trip to HD and got splash blocks for the downspouts on the old folks home, got them installed and the pvc pipe extensions that I had in place until the grass was established removed and put away.
A little puttering in the shop, but pretty much a lazy day.

Today I’ve got to return a borrowed tool to a friend about an hour’s drive away. My mechanical contractor buddy will come along for the ride, we’ll have lunch at Mission BBQ that is close to the destination. Other than that, not much planned.

I was actually disappointed that the power stayed on through the thunderstorm, I was looking forward to monitoring the generator….

Phil, nice work as usual...I had to look up Limba wood...never heard of it.

Took Della for a hike and swim early yesterday while it was still cool. Ran into two interesting dogs...a Staffordshire/Great Pyrenees mix, and a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. Both handsome and well leashed, thank goodness. We've seen the Staf/Pyrenees before...still the biggest head I've ever seen on a dog.

Then finished my bush hogging ...3.1 more hours during a day foggy with pollen in the air...may be the thickest I've seen it...told my wife when I came in that I might just be pregnant with tree triplets since I got so pollinated.

Still dealing with tree rounds. Smashed another finger...wood shed is full...first grass cutting of season done. ZTR has fuel issue again. Time to dump tanks and maybe ditch my gas cans.
