The fireplace man was really experienced he quickly fixed the hearth room fireplace by blowing out all the lines and replacing the ignitor a job beyond my pay scale or physical contortion abilities.

Spent the afternoon continuing removing rock in the dry river bed.

"Deer Out" from Amazon works. The camera picked up deer in the back yard last night but the deer edible plants that had been destroyed last year were not bothered. And this was after a rain.

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 10.4C and it's presently 16.4C, overcast & raining, calm. There was 13.5mm in the gauge @ 0900.

A good morning in town, yesterday, plus a good arvo cleaning around the house.

Then, my computer decided to 'not play nice' = Google Chrome access corrupted. So I called up my tech service "AnyTech365", who took remote control of my system and fixed everything up + did an entire system tune-up. I highly recommend them.

The rain today is very welcome. I've already been into town & back for 'fasting bloods' and I'm now enjoying my breakfast + coffee.

Tomorrow is ANZAC Day, which will start very early for the traditional march for the Dawn Ceremony. That will be followed by a 'gunfire breakfast' (yes, the bar will be open and coffee with rum available). There'll be a second march and wreath laying ceremony @ 1100.

That's about it, take care all.

Good Evening,
Scotty, good idea to wait to open your pool...here's what the river looked like Monday...Flowers from the Beech trees..
Billy, that is exactly why I’m not opening it up until Memorial Day weekend. And even then there is still stuff coming down. When we get back from the cruise I will get into it. If I had my way there wouldn’t be any trees near that pool. 😉

Dennis, glad to hear you got the other 3 boards ripped up. You’re on the home stretch. Kathleen wants me to do the other deck in June, while I thought I was going to do it in the fall. I guess she will win on that score.

Don, I’m sure there are plenty of interesting places to take your German relatives in Texas.

Hope all have a good evening 🙏

when this is done, I start building the lower deck to connect the two.

Coffee has finished brewing. 45° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 83° with plenty of sunshine. All the bending over to repair drain line made muscle in legs sore. So not much got done yesterday. Made a trip to Menards for garden supplies. Today is grocery shopping then get my bike out to prepare it for some riding at local park.

Morning all! 41 going to a sunny 73!
No luck on dentist yesterday. She did get an appointment for this morning though.
Brother in law is home resting. They gave him a bunch of meds and he is on an oxygen tank.
Doesn't look good for my buddy. Kidney stone issues might have them remove his bladder completely!
Not sure what I will be doing today. Have lots of small things to do here and there.
Don't think I will be doing many of these large projects...hard work!

Spalted Sycamore monster.
Ended up final dimension of 18 x 5 1/2. Inside shows beautiful coloring! Outside was a bit plain so I textured, burned and colored by the rim.
