That looks very different from my current Dolphin, think I have a model or 2 down.
Replaced the cable and rollers so far in 6 years.
Hope your fix works, salt water in the motor box does not sound good.

Apparently mine no longer a current model, definitely out of warranty. Spent too much of the morning disassembling and cleaning the motor box. Fair amount of corrosion. Did get it all cleaned up, but gave up finding my tube of silicone grease. Good chance I just used it all. So will have to get more before reassembling.

Paver broke conveyor pump blew seals part comes in today probably no work today not good.

Coffee is cooling in cup. 64° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 82° with later afternoon thunderstorms. Weed control never got done yesterday. Because of winds. Did some more barn recognizing. Today I need to do gutter cleanup. From all the Maple tree helicopters before afternoon thunderstorms. That should be enough for today.

enjoying first cup of coffee, looks like a nice day though hazy (wildfires??) and hot.
no plans for today other than building my new pergola when young friend comes this afternoon to help me.

have been putting out some seed/nuts mix for birds as a treat, blue jays come, find the large nuts, and fly them
back to the nest, I assume stockpiling. I have a family of very happy fat doves that ground feed each day.
Plus variety of cardinals and red winged blackbirds.

Buppies, feel better, sorry about paver pump. Must be a bit messy working on that machine, I always
wondered how machinery handling such sticky stuff kept going.

59 going to mid 80s again. Clouds likely to build this afternoon.
Spent the day walking the dog and the weed eater. Finally have the area looking pretty good.
Itching to get back to the bridge but still waiting on some help.

Time for a second cup.

Ct,55 to start going to low 80’s. Partly sunny but muted skies with the smoke moving into the region. Tomorrow looks to be very warm and humidity rising with a chance of thunderstorms. Looks like I will work on Friday.

Scotty - pool setup looks great, like the layout.

Thanks Ken, still need to install the hand rail to get out of the pool, the holes are filled with yard debris. Also need to bring out all the furniture.

Another day on deck2. Never get as much done as I think I will, but got 4 posts notched for headers, and think I have posts in final position to anchor the bases to the concrete.
Discovered my final elevation is at least 1/2” high, due to green wood.
A dry 2x8 measures 7.25”, green are 7.5”.
I will make it work

Dennis I built the mailbox pole replacement last year out of 6x6 pressure treated post that wasn’t totally dry. The top end has a bit of a tilt to it now. I should have let it totally dry out before erecting it !
Still it will never come down in my lifetime, unless hit by a truck coming down the road
