good Sunday morning all
going to be a warm summer day into low 90's, with thunderstorms
after dinner.
took a nice long trip through the garden, snipped off some dead leaves and made a nice
discovery in the watermelon patch. I have five icebox melons growing, not three. Pulled some leaves back and it
was a line of melons underneath. Will watch the stem waiting for it to change color

last of determinate tomatoes coming in, mostly indeterminate viney tomatoes from now on.
and one nice zucchini today. Headed across the street to neighbor who loves them.

need to mow the lawn this afternoon

Good morning TBN!!
66 going to mid 90s/100 HI today and humid! Very little chance of rain.

Ran errands yesterday.
Went to HF and picked up a 3 pt. QH for $100, Sale ends today. Put it on but haven't played with it yet.
Also got the rest of PEX connections I think I'll need for Hot water flush project from Lowes. Will turn my attention back to that in the next day or two.
With the heat and humidity I'm not sure of todays agenda. Maybe just some R&R.
Got a mile or two in with the dog. He may get some 4x4 walking in today

Time for a second cup.
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

Good morning tbn. Got more rain yesterday but west of here might be dry, so hopefully they got some, we didn't need it here. Was breezy and in the 50's when we got up. Not predicted to hit 70 here today. My dearest is sorting through items she got after her dad passed and will be doing that for many, many more weeks. Heading back to see a property we got rained out of yesterday. The Ocean Navigator was here in June.

75 outside right now, heading to mid 90's.

Finally got to the grasses yesterday. Only break was lunch and dinner.
Managed to get everything cut including around drainage ditches. I messed one up real bad with the tractor a few days ago. Wife was mowing a back pasture all day. MIL had to entertain herself and actually made lunch for herself. Didn't ask if my wife wanted lunch.
Brought in all the equipment just as dark was settling in. A good day, finally got something done.
Today, road trip to see nephew and new baby. Not sure about being outside in a park though with the temps approaching 100 degrees, but not my call.

Hope all have a great day today. Be safe.

Good morning, the low is 53 and going to a high of 68°F. Wind NNE 14 gusting to 24 mph. 30% chance of showers.
I don't know what hat they got the 30% chance of showers out of. It has been pissing down rain since 4 A.M.

I was going to cut the grass today, not no more.
I did muck out the cats yesterday, dump all the litter into the loader bucket and add that to the schitty compost pile. I have two piles, the aforementioned one and a kitchen pile that gets grass clippings as well.

With Dayton rims, I take the nuts off and put them back on two or three threads all the way 'round, then smack the edge of the rim where it forms a L with the bead breaker. That way I'm not chasing the clamps all over hells half acre.

I am going to do my imitation of the Allman Brothers. Eat a Peach.

Have a safe day all

Morning all, 78 to 92 and sunny.
Up late, finally got 7 hours in one night.

Busy yesterday, started off by using the pole saw on a lot of trees along the shared road.
Then went went and trimmed the bushes along the pool and that whole side field.
Took 3 hours, still need to do the front and back of the house, probably another whole day for that, so might just do the front today.

Then went to the Grange Fair, they had more tractors this time including many small ones. Saw some new hardware and they even had a section of military vehicles. Lots of animals in the sheds.

Picked up sausage and pepper heros there for dinner $13 each and not very good, but it's what we do.

Back home for some rest and then off to pedlars village for a dog walk and a sit to wait for the sun to go down, by then it had cooled off a lot.

Be well,

good morning, 84 going to 90

A strong thunderstorm last evening dropping over an inch and lightning all around including one near the house

The whole house surge protector may have saved us from damages

Looking at the Att data breach letter I got. Not sure about the prorata option or the documented one.
D is going look at it for me

"All TYT 2 Settlement Class Members will be eligible to receive a Documented Loss Cash Payment of up to $2,500 for all documented losses fairly traceable to the AT&T 2 Data Incident. Alternatively, Account Owners may claim a Tiered Cash Payment, which is a pro rata share of cash from the AT&T 2 Net Settlement Fund. 72°F and .01 inches rain

Got the new microwave swapped in yesterday. Same as old just newer. Old One starting to rust inside and door button sticking at times.
A bit disappointed that a scheduled Lowe’s delivery was rescheduled for another 12 days.

Sophie’s burger and dogs BBQ a great success. Too much great food as always.

Several opportunities for the day, but energy conservation may move up in priority.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

84.9F and sunny @ 12:30, calling for a high of 85F for the day. 60% chance of a shower or thunderstorm.

Looking at the radar, it’s hard to see that happening anytime soon.

Yesterday ended up being mostly an energy conservation day.

Not sure what the actual high ended up being, but at one point when I looked it was 91.9F here in the shade.

Once we finally got cleaned up and moving The Woman and I ran down to Menards in New Philadelphia to take a look at an upright freezer that was on sale/closeout. They were the only store in the area that had the item in stock.

Nice drive somewhat out in the country.

Also eyeballed the chest freezers. Looking like one of those may win out, with the advantages being lowest cost to operate and no restrictions on size of items that can be stored … as opposed to the fixed, non-adjustable shelves in the upright models.

Stopped by Raj’s for Indian take-out on the way back home.

They have the chest models in stock in Massillon … so a relatively quick trip down there to pick it up … if that’s what She decides to go with.

Beyond that not sure what we might get up to today.

Hope everyone is having a decent Sunday …

Good worship today, I had songs.
Good lunch at Mexican, as our usual Italian place closed for 2 weeks as Tony is in Italy. I liked the break, a couple of the guys not a fan of Mexican food.
Hot, 92 deg. No rain here yesterday, spigot got turned off at the Catoctin Mountains. Slim chance today and next 2 days. I watered garden last night.

I hear dad not cooperating with PT, don't think he's happy being there, but if he doesn't eat and got weak, we had to do something. They say he is eating there.

almost twenty degree drop in temps for tomorrow; front coming through later really must be bringing cooler weather in.
it won't last but after soaking my clothes today, should feel nice tomorrow.

did a lot of domestic house stuff today, had to, having some cleaning ladies come in this week for a one time cleaning and have to pick
a lot of stuff up and actually put it away instead of my usual piles.
got the lawn mowed and trimmed, that was a hot sweaty affair and happy to stay in a/c rest of afternoon.

counter is overflowing with tomatoes again. Need to remember to get some fresh mozzarella, have the fresh basil

High of 89F clouds rolling in now 80F slim chance of passing shower before sunset. :(

3 1/2 hours finally got both large areas clean of pine needles and cones whew, guess I better be thinking about getting back into shape before leaf blowing season starts. :(
While taking break mother bear and 2 cubs stop by for visit, mother bear feeling more comfortable letting cub come with in 15-20 feet than lays downs rolls around  nope I'm not having that, don't want them to get use to humans.

Soon Mrs. planning BBQing Cajun chicken and corn on the cob :) I won't be late. :)

Plans for the evening...deck feet up enjoy cigar cooler temps with light wind what for the critters to pass by.

Enjoy your evening all.
