Got everything done this morning and than some,afternoon bounce on the rider for couple hours mowing high spots,once again retie Boo toy rope to large limb guess I need plan B.
Evening just going to numb after dinner early to bed early to rise tomorrow morning.

finished picking up house and putting stuff away. Found box with high school yearbook in it, got distracted by

think I'll head out tomorrow morning and look for cheap mums.
that will give me something to do/plant while cleaning ladies have taken over my house tomorrow afternoon.
First time in a year someone else has done it, the corners and baseboards sure need it.
getting house cleaned a couple times a year is a nice treat.
and they always make my bed a lot nicer than I do.
but always the tight toes...make those sheets too tight and tight
toes will surely follow...

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low was -1.1C and it's presently warmed up to 15.0C, calm & clear.

A lovely Vietnam Veteran's Day Ceremony... although something has made my blue blazer 'shrink' a bit [similar to the waistband of my trousers]. It's a mystery .

travelling to Bicheno to do a 'penguin tour'... there's a fairy penguin rookery there.

What a great experience last evening and I learnt that, although "fairy" penguins is a known name for this type/breed, they're actually "Little Blue" penguins. It had been a good 9 years since I'd last been and you could get up fairly close to them as they were waddling to their various nests. Lots of chicks observed!

I actually got outside and cut most of the grass today. Both sides of driveway, front and back yards. The north field can go begging for another day or two. Also set up one of the two logs to mount the shelter on for the oil tank.

Good evening all. 76ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Light wind, gust increased to brisk, Clouds increased but no rain, and high temp was 100ºF, HI 109ºF. Made coffee to start day Malt-o-Meal for breakfast, bike ride, met new guy riding we will ride together some, mow back yard, lunch nap, fish club work more nap more fish club work.

Poured first cup of coffee. 66° with light rain this morning. Heading to 76° with chance of thunderstorms. No rain accumulation yet today on monitor. PT is helping. Swelling of ankle is almost gone. Did get garden pond maintenance done yesterday. With rain forecast today will try to spend day conserving energy.

a cool 63 out now going up into only high 70's today in clouds.
This cool weather is such a pleasant change, but it won't last.

headed out this morning to find some mums to plant, not sure they are in yet, then home for the afternoon
while cleaning ladies come. 900sf cottage not a lot to clean and they aren't allowed in my office.
Last time that happened one of them knocked a wire loose and it took me a while to figure out
what was wrong. So perhaps today I'll clean up my office a bit. Has a few new piles that got moved from
elsewhere

Bill, glad you got your lawn mowed; no rain here for awhile, maybe that cut will last a bit

68 this morning with a little bit of clouds this morning. Slim to none chance of rain and a high in mid 80s
Should be a bit less humidity too

Yesterday was spent on the bridge again. I have another section done for Sat concrete (I think)
Plan on getting the pump and hose out to clean up some of the mud before pouring. Just a few things left to do I think.
That's the plan for the rest of the week unless I tackle the hot water flush kit I need to install.
More bridge, puttering and sorting too.

It's time for a second cup

Good morning, the low is 55 and going up to 68°F. Wind ESE 8 mph. 30% chance of showers.

Chainsaw resharpened, may get out today and set the second log. These logs are elevated off the ground by concrete blocks. They are the sides for the foundation of the portable shelter (10X10X8') that will go over and around the oil tank. With the shelter elevated an extra 16" there will be plenty of ventilation. We are talking colored diesel here, not gasoline.

That is my day planned out.

Not much accomplished yesterday. Started moving a mulch pile from a stump out of the front yard. From the tree work. Still have about 4o rounds out there too that need someplace to go.

Wife took MIL for a trip to Shenandoah yesterday, so I had some me time. Concentration returned enough to do real job work. LOL.

Will see how today goes. Lots and lots of meetings.

Worked some on another window and ran out of supplies. Made a trip to builders supply place and stocked up

Ran the steam boost cycle on the Speed Queen dryer to freshen up a load in dryer that had been sitting

just need to be extra careful and hopefully have an assistant at bottom of ladder making
sure ladder doesn't move

I have a long very high quality manual pole pruner that is too hard for me to use for more than a minute
or two, too hard on my arms and wrists. So I'm admiring your variety of powered ones

Abut 60 here in Houghton MI this am with overcast and NOAA says we'll hit 70 today. Hopefully no rain but I'll need to mow again with the b powered mower. This is the most time mowing I've every done here over a summer. Need to complete my snow roller updating.

Arly, just looked at a map and I thought my brother's place in Cedarville was far away, but Houghton is even further
out that peninsula to the West. You are almost in Canada.
looks like a wonderful spot to have a boat
and a beautiful area in general. Town of 9000 should be just the right size.
