Nice morning here in Houghton MI at around 55 degrees and light east wind. Today's high is 68 but we will have a couple of warm days this week. Got my trailer moved back into the sun yesterday for drying the deck and might need to mow the lawn again today. Realtor texted us yesterday asking if we cared to close on the camp property on Friday. We live pretty boring lives here.

Good morning TBN.
60 this morning and probably won't get out of the 70s. Got almost an inch of rain over night. Still need some more.
Started the day by getting the deep freeze emptied, on the deck and defrosted. It has needed it for a while. Took the leaf blower to it and the deck. And got it back in and running.
Tinkered a bit with buggy wiring and I have it cranking with the new harness! Not getting any spark so more trouble shooting.
Then just puttered a while waiting on the wife to return from her 8 day trip to Ohio.
Got my mess cleaned up from the week alone. Laundry, dishes, etc.
She got home and apparently sick, so I will keep my distance for a couple of days. We'll see how she is and maybe get her to town for a Covid/flu test.
Not too sure about todays agenda.

Time for a second cup

Need to clean the mower deck on the Z Turn and remove the battery for the winter. I think the grass is pretty much done growing for the year.

I will try and get a chunk of the field out front mowed this morning. Should be cool enough, although my old Massey Feeguson does suck some fuel.

Wondering what you guys use for spraying for bees and insects around the house ? My friend suggested Telstar P , I believe, do any of you guys use that ?

Video played for me, I would suspect one bad injector. If you have a "local" shop that could go through them and clean and replace any parts needed would be the way to go.

Good Morning
58° now, going into the upper 70’s under a partly cloudy sky.

Yesterday was mostly consumed by a trip to Richmond that never left the airport due to an “engine control fault”. Not unlike th echelons engine light in your car. After plugging in the diagnostic computer we were able to reset it and take the plane to the service center in Newburgh, NY.
My ride back was in a nice Cessna 310, we stopped and had lunch in Pittstown, NJ as the airport there has cheap(er) a gas and a nice restaurant.
Did some more work on bring the old RC plane back to life, still tinkering with the engine.

Today starts with breakfast with the professor, then back to regularly scheduled programming.

Sunday youngest son found an old Estes rocket and some motors, so we got my grandson to come up and launch it. We got 6 successful launches and 5 successful recoveries. It’s presently in a tree….

Son that is 30 now-

L4N - did you try some extra time on the glow plugs? Do you have anything to look for hot/cool spots near the injectors to see which piston isn't firing?

Today is day job and errands, still need to split some wood.

Uncle not really able to walk anymore, or remember things that just got discussed. I need to go see him soon, another trip to the west coast....

That is what I thought. Only 3 injectors so might as well replace all of them.
A equipment dealer near me (5 miles away) just started selling Kioti. They have been around since the '60s and are well respected.
I am going to take the phone with the video there on Friday and let their mechanic hear it and then we will go from there. I already have a quote from them to replace all 3 injectors. $1336.oo all in. This includes them coming a picking it up and delivering it back to me. I will take the loader and BB off for them.

Wife complaining about our new cell phone service just doesn't work in the house, might have to go to something different. It seemed to work ok at first, so maybe they turned off a tower? it's like the wifi calling is not working at all. Sometimes messaging come immediate, sometimes it takes hours. Hard to do 2FA when the txt doesn't arrive.

Dentist this morning went ok for a dentist visit. New girl did the cleaning, and just did her job without complaining like one used to do there. My wife (with as perfect of teeth you can get) changed to another dentist after their complaining.

The flies are back in the one room upstairs, think it was last fall we had the problem, but was ok over the summer. Think I'll take all the window trim off and reseal around the outside of the frame, but still don't think that is the issue. They got to be getting in thru the window seals somehow.

Almost sounds like a nozzle is plugged until it builds heat in that cylinder. Cracking individual lines will point out which one. JMO

my brother flew his drone thru the barn at the farm, and said, when you see it, you see it. Here's a snapshot of what it is....... I didn't see it in the video. I said I see the barn about to fall over. Dad built this shed addition in 1950s.
