Good Morning WinterDeere,

Take some of mine, if it'll make you feel better. :p Who even looks at their own post count?
No i understand what your saying, i just feel that because we are on this particular thread, we are being judged differently 😉
Like I said in my previous post, not going to get my panties in a wad, I just don’t agree with it ! JMO

Just one of the wonders of the computer age and forums. Your posts only count on certain forums. This change has me about to turn off my ad blocker and then inform all the advertisers I will not be buying or using their products. And the thing is it isn't even the actual products it is what every crybaby service that they are using for ad placement.

Look at it this way, you have achieved Super Member status under false pretenses. LOL.

The bar is raised yet again for (some on) the Status ladder. LOL.

The head phones I listen to while mowing are old beats buttons are small easy to screw up have to take them off to see which button to hit. Too complicated for old goats like me
I just throw in some ear plugs and drive around talking to myself 😬😬😬😬

A cool 61F and partly cloudy @ 11:30, heading up to around 64F for the day's high. Winds out of the North @ 10 - 15mph. Low this morning was 46.4F.

Yesterday's rain turned out to be quite the soaker - the gauge has almost 1.75" in it ... (y)

Got another week's worth of meds doled out yesterday first thing.

Then headed down to Menards to pick up order.

I intentionally left a couple of items off the order so I could purchase them separately and use the rebate checks to pay (can't be used when order is placed online) ... so I had to hit the desk for a slip for the six 10' sticks of 1/2" rebar and then go pull the 4' x 100' roll of welded wire fencing and head up front to pay.

Then headed back to the pick up desk to get the other order. Found out that whoever pulled it didn't bother to palletize it ... so had to do that before they could load it in the van with a tow motor.

Headed out after that and swung by TSC in Canal Fulton on the way back and picked up 1/2 mile of Bekaert 14 gauge galvanized high tensile fence wire and some additional insulators. The wire ended up being on sale this week, so saved $10 there.

Headed up to the shop after I got back and unloaded the rebar and then started looking for materials to build the fence staple starter tool.

Ended settling on a piece of 1" square tube as the socket/holder for the staples with a couple of pieces of 1/4" plate welded inside to create the slot the staple will go in.

Got that welded up, just need to do a little clean up on that and weld the handle/driver on it and it should be good to go.

Will probably head up and do that here in a few ... along with cutting the 10' sticks of rebar in half to be used to secure the welded wire cages.

Got the Menards rebate form filled out and an envelope addressed and a stamp put on it for yesterday's purchases so that's ready to be put in the mail.

Sun is now out but it's fairly breezy ... so might unload the roll of welded wire fencing into the shop where it will be warmer and start cutting that up to make the cages.

Likely still too wet to do any further mowing so that will have to wait until it dries out a bit. Probably will be a couple of days due to the cooler temps.

Beyond that just see what else comes up.

Hope everyone is having a decent day ... and not having too much trouble coping with the recent "big change" to the forum ... (y)

;)

A very successful day yesterday

8 members of the Hamakua Coast Old Farts. OK. Dwayne is only 52, honorary member. A learn as you go but soon developed a sequence. Partially assemble an arch with 5 pieces on the ground, load onto a jig we designed, lift and place with tractor onto previous arch and wall pieces. I operated the tractor.

Even with a few hiccups managed to have last arch placed before 5pm

A couple of guys will return today to add remaining bolts and torque them all. Not me

But I will get to finish assembling, greasing my new flail

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Meh. Don't waste your time. Life is too short. There are bigger things to worry about, today!
