Don sorry water bill so high. Last 2 months my water bill higher than electric bill. Hope they update cards board get updated soon.
Good morning! last night the card's scoreboard was updated and I snagged 2nd place out of 40. We play for wins (not points) and first place and I both tied at 39 wins for the Summer quarter. If there is a tie of wins then the points determine the winner and she had more points. The top three get their pic in the neighborhood magazine. Pictures taken next week. Not doing as good this quarter - loosing more games than winning.

75˚F but the southerly wind just shifted, now from the North and the highs will only be in the mid 80s - a nice break to be relieved out of the 90s. No rain, very dry, lots of watering again this month to keep plants and grass alive

I planted my first wild flower garden will see if the three year old seeds come up. FireWise brush clearing today along with yard mowing and truck washing, a busy day.

The wild ringtail cat seems to be making a nightly appearance on the backyard camera eating the apple cores my wife leaves for it.

Hope all have a productive safe day.

good morning all
late start
six pages to catch up with
chilly 39 out now going up to low 70's in sunshine, with rain coming in again tonight.
We have had so little rain, I wish one of these storms would dump an inch or two on us.

disappointing conversation with rv dealer who had said he would take my rv on consignment. Seems he just wants to give
it away as he said if I wasn't willing to drop my price a lot, would just sit on his lot. No. It's not overpriced, though the used rv and
powersports market is pretty depressed now. So maybe I'll winterize it today, need to find the air fitting for compressor to blow out water lines.
Just not going to give it away so looks like I'll be rv'ing again next year. With my closest friend getting his first travel trailer a few weeks ago, that means we can meet at campgrounds.

I think I may list the rv on POPs, a new growing mls for smaller boats and rvs. RV trader.com did not produce one honest lead in two listings.
Guess my timing is poor

Don, never heard of ringtail, seems to be cross between racoon and cat.
A wild ringtail is a nocturnal, cat-sized omnivore with a long, black-and-white ringed tail, native to the southwestern United States and Mexico. These agile, shy animals primarily live in rocky areas, where they climb to find dens in crevices, but may also den in hollow trees or logs in woodland areas. They are expert climbers with a varied diet of insects, rodents, birds, and fruits. In the wild, they typically live 6-9 years.

Good Morning
41° and clear today, high in the upper 60’s

Yesterday was spent entirely in the shop, cleaning up and putting the music room back together. There were cables everywhere, as the native equipment was all rerouted to the traveling PA to get everyone’s monitor levels set up as we have been using stage monitors rather than in ears. I much prefer in ear monitors though.
Got almost everything back together, all the excess cable back on the reels, only thing left is actual housekeeping, and putting the PA gear back in its spot.

After dinner went to Oddfellows meeting, I missed the last one, where I was voted into the top seat. That’s why you should never miss a meeting.

Today starts with breakfast with the professor, then a trip to Vero Beach. Nothing else planned for the day.

My dad and mom belonged to Oddfellows and Rebekahs back in the late 40’s and 50’s. Us kids attended many family events at the local lodge in Warren, Michigan. You mentioning them lately is first I heard of the organization in many years. Looks like there is still a Lodge in Warren,MI.

Morning all, 38 going to 71 and partly cloudy.
Yesterdays rain was less than 1/4" so not much help.
But at least the gusting winds have calmed. Lots of little branches down.

Be well,

It's good to have spiders, on the outside of our front door side window.
Looks like a meal for a long while.

Good morning, the low is 38 and going to 54°F. Wind E 7 mph. Periods of rain. There is rain in the forecast for the next 4 days. Snow overnight on one of them.

Kyle, you are right, corn squeezins ARE for drinking. You are also right about the ethanol in V-power. I don't know where I got the 0% number from. I'm sorry if I lead anybody astray.

I may get after the hard drive (8tb) I need to clean out today to make room for Linux. It is too early to tell for sure.

Have a safe day all
any computer can be made to dual boot with a boot manager. I've gone to using solid state drives, as they are much faster booting, my two, 1TB drives are full in my laptop.

I very well liked firefighter lost his life Sunday while doing the below project at home. Little confused what he was doing with an oxygen tank and toilet paper roll. I know several in our group are firefighters.
Special prayers for his family and friends. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
This is from the local news report
"Everybody is kind of heartbroken. It was a tragic accident," he said. "He was making a toilet paper roll with an old firefighter oxygen tank. He’s done it plenty of times before, and this time when he was doing it, he cut it open. When he cut it open, it exploded, and shrapnel went through his chest."
This is supposedly what he was making. I received the picture in an email this morning that described the accident and announced his passing.
Edit - Oops, Ron beat me to it with the picture.

Off today. Taking disabled daughter to a doctor's appt.
We decided to hire a law firm that specializes in getting disabled people into the SS system. Now I'm reading that to maximize their SS payment, we need to charge her rent and boarding. Actually, I'm hoping to put her a small living quarters in the backyard that she can have her isolation. I just need SS to pay enough to buy her a cheap tiny home.
Has anyone had to deal with something like this?
Also, she's on my work health insurance until she's 25 or I retire. We need to get her into Medicaire or Medicaid for her adult life now that she's 18.

Long day in the shop, finishing off assembly work and then crating on a large project due to ship out this week. Noticed it was a bit cool out when I finished work late tonight, so decided to light both wood stoves, 1/2 load in each. Dogs have assumed their positions, in front of each stove. :ROFLMAO:
I'm smiling just reading about your happy dogs. Thanks!
Yup, that’s the plan
And zip tie the hoses.
FWIW: I use a fair amount of 1-2" nylon hose wrap, both to protect my hoses from sun and physical damage, but also to wrap pairs of hoses together to route the hoses where I want them, and away from pinch points, abrasion areas, moving spindles.
Lots of vendors
