63F and partly cloudy @ 12:00, calling for a high of 64F. Clinton Station reports the low this morning hit 34.6F.
Got meds doled out first thing yesterday.
Then paid phone bill.
After that got outside and started blowing leaves with the Cub. Wind not as bad as they were predicting. Got the back all done and had started on the west side. Knew I was getting low on fuel so pulled around front.
Could not locate 5 gallon can to take down to the corner (buried under a bunch of junk The Woman piled in the garage ...

) Saw 2 1/2 gallon with about 1/2 gallon old Stihl premix in it, dumped that into the Cub and headed down to the corner and got 2 1/2 gallons.
Put that in the Cub when I got back and fired it up and headed back over to the west side to continue on. Cub didn't like that and started missing and finally died, wouldn't restart and remaining running ... wore battery down trying to get it running. Had to tow it back around front with the Kubota ... PITA ...
Threw in the towel and went and refilled the hopper feeder and both suet feeders. Also scattered some seed for the ground feeders.
After that I got all the studs cut to length that I had in stowed in the garage.
Took the Kubota over and grabbed another 16 out of the barn and stuck 6 - 8 of those in the garage.
Got the last 3 studs for the 8' section of the south wall in the utility room cut to length.
Took down the studs for the 4' section of the west wall.
Did a little more trimming on the section of foam board that goes around the 1" copper pipe coming from the well into the house and got that glued and put up.
Fired up the little Craftsman compressor and opened the drain valve and got no water ...
Put a few drops of air tool oil in the "new" (actually old, as it was purchased a while back) Milwaukee framing nailer and nailed up the 4' section of stud wall that will go on the west wall in the utility room.
Then promptly found out I have a clearance problem getting it back to where it needs to go ...
Will need to remove the 3/4 copper line that was coming from the softener and cap that off so I can move it into place.
At that point it was around 23:30 and I'd had enough so called it a day.
Agenda for today:
Pay trash bill.
Get the Cub hooked up on the battery charger and see if I can't get it started once charged.
If successful, then more leaf blowing.
Move the rest of the 2 x 4's into the garage for trimming.
Move the 2 x 4's I've already trimmed around to basement door and get those put inside.
Beyond that just see what else comes up.
Hope everyone is having a decent Wednesday ...
