Drinking first cup of hot coffee. 26° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 43° with mostly sunny skies. Restocked my supply of Bird Seed at Menards. Eye Dr. visit went good. Very little change in prescription. No worries of Cataracts. Ordered new sunglasses and everyday glasses. On the way home stopped at friends place. 4 hours later we had told enough stories. Hope to get Mule oil and filter changed today.

Another long night Holly stole keys to outside doors now if I cannot get them back another rekey. She would not take her pills last night now absolute bear.

Got one service truck to shop for repairs roller needs to go next. Larger roller has already been fixed

You just reminded me that I’m probably overdue for the second shingles shot. I think it’s supposed to be 2-6 weeks after the first?

I got a shingles attack in 2004 during the first 2 months of dealing with retirement decisions. It showed up in left for-head . I thought it was a bug bite. If not treated it can move into eye. Not fun. Early treatment and getting retirement decisions settled helped a lot.
In 2020 I got Singles Shots. First one then 2 months later got second shot. Dr’s reason for getting shots was you can get Shingles more than one time.

We got our shingles shots at Costco. That reminds me I'm due for the flu vaccine. I didn't get one a couple weeks back when my wife did because I was just finishing the doxy for the tick bite...they said wait at least 10 days.

Precious looks happy. Hope Holly is better today so you can get some sleep.

FWT, congrats on your new snowblower. I think you'll need it this year.

Yesterday was likely the last mowing of the year...put my homemade mulching cover on the deck and went after the last batch of leaves, and the grass that I didn't mow last time. First, I used the leaf blower to move some leaves out from tree trunks, etc, so I had quite a lot. Mostly maple leaves, which are relatively easy to mulch, and enrich the soil. Rain started just as I was blowing off the zero turn.

Then inside for a severe hair cut by my wife...severe because it had gotten long and I wanted it extra short. She does a good job.

Ct, 42 to start going to 48. It’s presently raining, supposed to stop around 10 or 11am.

Went out with friends for pizza and beer last night. Fire House Pizza was the name of the place. They have a fire truck out on the side of the restaurant that can be sent out for parties, it has wood fired ovens for baking their pizza. But not in operation last night.

Kathleen is taking all the grand kids to a Disney Ice show in Bridgeport this afternoon along with our two DIL’s. I believe they are all going out to eat after the show, so she will be gone until tonite.

She has informed me that my job today is to install the Christmas Lights on the two front bushes on each side of our front door . Hoping to get that done right after the rain stops. Maybe some radio time after that
